Today, NTA announced that IIFT 2020 application form correction window will be open from November 9, 2019 to November 11, 2019. Coincidentally, November 11, 2019 is also supposed to be the date of release of IIFT 2020 admit card.
National Testing Agency had published the information brochure of IIFT MBA IB entrance exam in September. At that time, the last date for registration was October 25, and form correction was to start on November 1. And as per the brochure, admit card release date happens to be November 11.
Since then, NTA has extended the registration dates once for all candidates, and re-opened registrations for JnK candidates this week. Due to the multiple date changes now finally the latest form correction window is supposed to be available from Saturday to Monday.
However, admit cards are issued on the basis of information submitted by candidates in the application form. If the agency will accept corrections until Monday, it seems improbable to release admit card on the same day. Hence, there are quite high chances that date for the release of IIFT 2020 admit card might change.
When form correction begins, candidates have to visit the official website of iift.nta.nic.in to edit their details. On the homepage of the website, they will find a link like “Edit details in Form” and from there they have to log in by entering application number and password. Upon submitting the login details, they can proceed to edit or modify detail in the online application form.
It will be a one-time form correction facility which will be provided to only those candidates who have successfully submitted their application form. In the form correction facility, candidates cannot edit the test centre as submitted by them earlier and their photo/ signature. For removing any discrpeancy in the images, NTA has provided a separate facility to the candidates. The images are to be corrected by only those candidates who have received an SMS by NTA regarding an error in the images uploaded.
Candidates might have to pay additional fee amount upon correcting details in the IIFT 2020 form. NTA has not specified as to the additional fee amount that is to be paid and for which detail, candidates need to pay the additional fee. However, it is notified that candidates can pay the additonal fee, wherever applicable by credit, debit card, net banking, UPI and PAYTM.
After the form correction window closes, candidates will not be allowed to make any correction in the particulars in the IIFT application form. Hence, one must keep all the necessary documents like class 10th certificate, class 12th marksheet, degree marksheet, income certificate, category certificate, etc ready before hand. All the information must be entered very carefully and applicant must check twice that the details provided in the form are correct and then only submit the form. Once the form is submitted, candidates shall not be allowed to edit details thereafter.
IIFT 2020 entrance exam is scheduled to be held on December 01, 2019. The exam is being conducted by NTA for the first time in online mode. Earlier, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) used to conduct the IIFT MBA (IB) entrance exam. Candidates are shortlisted for admission in MBA (International Business) on the basis of their performance in the test and personal interview which will be conducted at IIFT.
