Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has released the IIFT Result for the exam conducted on December 02, 2018. The result has been declared on January 15, 2019, at 05:00 PM. Candidates who have appeared for the pen and paper examination can download the result at iift.edu. For now, only the PDF is available which contains the list of shortlisted candidates. The scorecard will be updated shortly on the website.

This year IIFT has shortlisted 2097 students for the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). This number is 6% more than the previous year. Candidates selected for the next round can find their name, roll number, and application in the order of the IIFT exam roll number.
The scorecard of the IIFT 2019 contains the sectional and overall performance in the entrance exam. Also, candidates can find the cut-off required to clear the first stage of the selection process. Last year, the cut-off for General category was 35.5. For SC, ST, OBC (NCL), and PH, the cut-off was 20.02, 22.69, 23.36, and 30.5 respectively. Along with the overall cut-off, candidates also have to clear the sectional cut-off as well.
Candidates who have shortlisted for the next round must start their preparation accordingly. Also, keep a check on the registered email id to get the latest updates by IIFT. Candidates will find the intimation related to GDPI schedule, small assignment, for example, CV form etc. Students must comply with the deadlines to avoid any inconvenience during the admission process later.
Once the WAT/ GD/ PI wraps up, the institute will release the list of the candidates selected for the final admission 2019-21. Thereafter, candidates have to complete the admission formalities to take the admission to the new academic year. The fee structure for the MBA in International Business is Rs 8,35,000/- annually. There is 50% concession in tuition fees for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.
IIFT also offers computer, library, and hostel facilities (double and triple occupancy). The fee for all the facilities is different and same for all the categories. The exact fee structure for 2019-21 batch will be sent to candidates with their offer letter. IIFT also gives a scholarship to candidates having a family income less than Rs 4.50 lakh per year.
Recently, IIFT has also released the placement report for the previous batch who are completing their MBA this year. As reported, IIFT was the first b-school to complete the placement drive. There is increase in the overall and average salary as compared to the previous drive. This year, 279 students and 98 companies participated in the drive. The median compensation is Rs 18 LPA.
