Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will close the IGNOU OPENMAT 2019 registration window on November 15, 2018. Interested candidates who have not registered yet must submit the application form before the last date. The forms are available at the official website of IGNOU ie ignou.ac.in. The current registration process is ongoing for the January session for which the exam will take place on December 16, 2018. With the exam result, students can take admission in the month of January/ February or July/ August.
Candidates aspiring to pursue MBA from IGNOU can fill the application form for OPENMAT by paying Rs 1000/- which is the same for all the candidates. Applicants can pay the fee via online mode only, there is no provision to submit the fee in offline mode. Moreover, this year IGNOU has also not released the offline forms to submit the application. Until now, the latest information brochure has also not been uploaded on the website yet.
Candidates can fill the IGNOU 2019 Application Form in multiple sessions. After the successful registration, the form includes 8 steps in which all the details have to be furnished correctly. According to the official website of IGNOU, an applicant will not able to change any details in the form once he/she has paid the examination fee.
In the OPENMAT 2019 form, candidates have to upload the photograph and signature in the correct format. The thorough verification of the educational documents will take place during the admission process. As an important tool, candidates must keep their username and password safe for future login. Even candidates will get the admit card online after accessing the student’s dashboard. Until now, there is no confirmation when the hall ticket will be released by IGNOU.
Since only one month has been left for the exam day, candidates must focus on their preparation. The OPENMAT is an offline examination of 180 minutes having a total of 200 questions. Test takers have to show their proficiency by attempting a maximum number of questions in the test.
As a brownie point, there is no negative marking in OPENMAT, so candidates can easily maximize their number of attempts. In the exam, getting 120-140 will help to qualify OPENMAT 2019. Importantly, the test comprises four sections naming General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning having 30, 50, 50, and 70 questions respectively.
