Cambridge International has announced the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) AS and A level results on the official website cambridgeinternational.org. The results were made available on the official website yesterday, May 25, 2021, at 6:00 pm. The institute has announced the provisional results for candidates who appeared for the March 2021 series. Candidates who gave entries for this March 2021 session can get their results despatch on the Cambridge International Direct portal.
The Cambridge International results despatch contains all the information relevant to the March 2021 series results. All the documents present in this despatch are important and have a role to play in the future admission process. The results despatch includes a number of documents including statement of results, syllabus results and component grades, results broadsheet, moderation adjustments summary report, etc. The summary report is provided only to those affiliated institutions in which candidates have appeared for the internal assessment components.
The Cambridge International IGCSE results are made available on the Cambridge International Direct direct.cie.org.uk. On the portal, affiliated institutions can find documents such as provisional results information, results broadsheet, component marks report and moderation report. To access these documents for their respective candidates, institutes must login to the portal by entering their username and password.
Candidates who have enquiries about their results can submit them through the Direct portal. However, these enquiries must be submitted till the results portal is open. To such candidates, the Cambridge International institute shall issue certificates to those candidates once their queries are resolved. The deadline to submit enquiries regarding the results is June 11, 2021.
Cambridge International shall show specific grades depending on the course and the candidate’s performance in that specific course. For the IGCSE exams, the grades shown on certificate shall include A*, A, B, C, D, E, F and G. For the Cambridge International AS level courses, grades such as a, b, c, d and e shall be displayed. Similarly, for the Cambridge International A level, grades such as A*, A, B, C, D and E shall be displayed.
The results for Cambridge International AS and A level courses, subjects shall be used from three curriculums. The first curriculum includes Mathematics and Science, the second group shall comprise of languages. The third curriculum shall comprise of subjects like Arts and Humanities. Additionally, a fourth curriculum exists containing interdisciplinary subjects and those based on skills.
Candidates who pass the Cambridge International AICE Diploma course shall be awarded one of the three terms – Pass, Merit or Distinction. Candidates shall be awarded marks based on the grades they achieve in each subject. Such evaluation shall reflect in the results that they have received.
