Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is all set to conduct the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) 2021 today, November 13, 2021. The exam will be held in a shift-wise manner through the remote-proctored format. Candidates are expected to log in to the portal at least 30 minutes before their slot timing. They have to log in to the portal using the USER ID and password issued by authorities. Since it’s a remote-proctored exam, candidates will be monitored throughout the exam duration. Read ahead to get more details about the CSEET 2021 examination.
As per official information, each registered candidate has already received their login credentials and slot timings via email or SMS. These login credentials include user id and password and will come in handy while accessing the exam portal. Candidates are advised to check their registered email ID or phone number for these details to ensure that they appear in the right slot.
ICSI CSEET Admit Card and SEB installation
All candidates must report for the exam at least 30 minutes before the slot timing, using the Safe Exam Browser (SEB). No candidate will be allowed entry to the portal 15 minutes after the commencement of the exam.
If not yet installed, candidates must download SEB as soon as possible before their exam begins. Additionally, they must download a copy of their CSEET 2021 admit card along with the PDF of exam instructions. Both these documents are readily available for download on the official portal icsi.edu. To not take any chances, a copy of the admit card must be placed nearby while appearing for the exam.
CSEET 2021 in Remote-based Proctored Mode
As mentioned before, the CSEET 2021 examination will be conducted through the remote-based online proctored format. This implies that a candidate can appear for the exam using his/her laptop or computer at a preferred location. Candidates must make sure that the place where they sit has a stable internet connection. Once disconnected, they will not be allowed to give the exam again.
Along with a stable Wi-Fi connection, candidates must keep a reliable mobile hotspot handy to ensure that they remain connected to the exam portal at all times.
Another important piece of advice is to keep a backup device nearby. In case the main device starts acting wonky, candidates can communicate with the invigilator present and seek permission to access the portal from a different device.
No candidate will be permitted to leave the exam before 90 minutes have passed from the start of the CSEET 2021 exam. Hence, instead of finishing the paper haphazardly, candidates should utilize the entire time to solve and complete the paper.
