The result is available at two websites – examicai.in and examicmai.org. To check ICWAI CMA Result Dec 2017 for Foundation Exam, the candidate need to enter the identification Number. The number is to be entered in the format of EF0000001234, SF0000000123, NF0000000123.
The Result for CMA Dec 2017 Intermediate and Final Examination has also been announced. To check the result for Intermediate and Final, the candidate need to enter their Registration Number.
Along with the result, the Institute has also published the Pass List for both Old and New Syllabus of foundation, intermediate and final exam. The pass list consists of the Roll Number of the candidates who have qualified the exam.
ICMAI announced Foundation/Inter/ Final Result Dec 2017; Know How Many Passed
As per the Pass List, in the Foundation Programme (Syllabus 2016) 5030 candidates qualified, while in, Syllabus 2012, about 25 students qualified. For Intermediate Programme under the 2016 Syllabus, in Group 1, 1636 qualified and 155 qualified in Group 2. Overall, a total of 1117 candidates passed. While under the 2012 Syllabus, in Group 1, a total of 348 candidates qualified, whereas, in Group 2, the number of qualifiers were 299. Overall, a total of 1581 candidates qualified the Intermediate Exam under Syllabus 2012.
For Final Examination, a total of 399 candidates qualified under the Syllabus 2016. In these total qualifiers, 115 managed to pass in Group III, and 418 qualified in Group IV. Under the 2012 Syllabus, overall 794 candidates qualified. While, the number of qualifiers in Group III were 151 and in Group IV were 359 under the Syllabus 2012.
The pass percentage for this year is not yet announced. However, last year the percentage was 9.09% for CMA Inter and 12.71% for CMA Final.
Last year in the CMA Inter Group 1, a total of 2706 candidates passed and in Group 2, about 238 candidates managed to qualify the exam. Whereas in CMA Final Group 3, around 371 candidates qualified and in Group 4, 1257 candidates passed. Overall, a total of 2460 candidates passed in CMA Inter Groups and 1535 students passed in CMA Final Groups.
The candidates can also apply for verification of marks as per the rules of the Institute. The photocopy of the answer scripts will be provided only after the verification process is completed. The application should be done positively within 21 days from the date of declaration of results of the concerned examination with a fee of Rs 500 per paper.
Only those will be declared as passed, those who obtain equal to or more than the qualifying marks in the exam. A candidate is considered as qualified if he/she secures at least 40% marks in each paper of the group and at least 50% marks in aggregate in non-exempted papers of the group.
The Qualifying Percentage and Pass Percentage are two different terms and have different meanings. The pass percentage is the percentage of candidates who have qualified the examination. It is published once the result is declared.
