India Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) conducted the All India Entrance Examinations for Admissions (AIEEA) in UG, PG and PhD courses. The AIEEA 2018 was held on June 22, 2018, for PG and PhD courses, whereas for UG courses it was conducted on the next day, i.e. on June 23, 2018. The examinations were completed in the online mode. Now on the official website, the notice regarding updating the Educational Qualification is available. As per the notice, those candidates who opted “Appearing in Qualifying Exam as Yes” must update their educational qualifications before July 03, 2018.
Based on this, it is possible that ICAR will release the AIEEA UG 2018 Result and AIEEA PG Result 2018 on or after July 03, 2018. Therefore candidates who have appeared for the examination can keep a regular check for the declaration of the result on the official website, http://www.icar.org.in.

To update their educational qualification, candidates have to log in using their application number and password. On logging in they will be able to view their Educational Qualification details page. It is open for only those candidates who have selected their qualifying exam status as appearing. Now, they have to update this part. Only those candidates who will be able to complete their education qualification page with correct information will be able to check their AIEEA 2018 Result.

As per the eligibility norms of ICAR AIEEA 2018, for admission in UG programmes candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General category, OBC(NCL) and UPS categories. Whereas, 40% marks is needed in aggregate for SC, ST and PC categories.
In case of PG programmes, the minimum marks needed in the qualifying examination as decided by ICAR is overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) of at least 6.60/10.00 in ten-point scale, 3.25/5.00 in five-point scale, 2.60/4.00 in four-point scale for General, OBC and UPS categories. Whereas for SC/ST/Physically Challenged (PC) candidates, the requirement is an OGPA of at least 5.60/10.00, 2.75/5.00, 2.20/4.00, respectively. On the other hand, if grade-points are not awarded and only marks are awarded, the candidate must have secured at least 60% marks for General, OBC and UPS categories, whereas for SC/ST/PC categories the requirement is 50% marks.
Now coming to PhD admissions, the minimum marks in qualifying examination needed is an overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) of at least 6.50/10.00 scale, 3.25/5.00 scale, 2.60/4.00 scale for General, OBC (NCL) and UPS Categories and 5.50/10.00, 2.75/5.00, 2.20/4.00 scale for SC/ST/Physically Challenged (PC) categories, respectively from any recognized University in India and abroad. If grade-points are not awarded and only marks are awarded, the candidate must have secured at least 60% marks for General, OBC (NCL) and UPS category. For SC/ST/PC candidates, the minimum percentage of marks will be 50%.
