The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) shall announce the AIEEA Result 2018 for UG, PG, JRF/ SRF (PGS) today. The candidates who appeared for the re-examination can check their result online on icarexam.net. The re-examination for UG was held on August 19, 2018, and for PG, JRF/SRF (PGS) the re-exam was conducted on August 18, 2018.
As per the schedule published by the agricultural education regulator regarding ICAR AIEEA 2018, the results were scheduled to be released on August 30. However, according to reports, a Kerala High Court order had on August 21 stayed the results publication for three weeks.
If the reports are to be true then it is highly unlikely that the result shall be available today.
A writ petition was filed by two candidates, Amal C T and Adarsh C K. The two students filed the complaint that they demanded that ICAR should postpone the exam due to the floods and landslides happening in Kerala. However, ICAR went ahead with conducting the test and now students are awaiting their result.
This has been a topic of discussion for a couple of days now. Many students have suggested that the examination should be re-conducted, whereas, there are many students who are against the idea of conducting the re-examination as they cannot afford to take the exam the third time again.
If the reports are true and the result is withheld for three weeks, the next question is Will there be a rec-conduct of the exam? If yes, then how will ICAR conduct it again? Conducting the re-exam will definitely not be a piece of cake.
