ICAR AIEEA Application Form 2019 for UG and PG Released; 5 Important Points to Note

NTA Releases AIEEA UG and PG 2019 Application Form

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the ICAR AIEEA UG and PG Application Form 2019. Till the year 2018, the All India Entrance Examination (AIEEA) for UG and PG admission was conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). However, from 2019 onwards, this national level entrance exam will be conducted by NTA on July 01, 2019.

The aspirants can apply for ICAR AIEEA UG and PG 2019 online at ntaicar.nic.in. The last date to register and submit the AIEEA UG and PG Application Form 2019 is April 30, 2019. To apply for the entrance exam, the candidates need to first register online. In the registration form, the aspirants have to fill in their basic details like their name, date of birth, email id, mobile number, etc. Once the registration is done then the candidates can proceed to fill in details in the Application Form. Lastly, pay the required amount of application fee and submit the form.

Now, that NTA has taken over AIEEA UG and PG 2019, few things have changed and few not. Firstly, NTA has announced that it is not going to change the Application Fee for any of the entrance exams which it is conducting. Hence, the application fee for AIEEA UG and PG 2019 is the same as last year. For AIEEA UG 2019, the application fee is, Rs. 700/- for General / OBC (NCL) & UPS, and Rs. 350/- for SC, ST and PC category candidates. Whereas, for submitting the AIEEA PG 2019 Form, the application fee is Rs. 1000/- for General/Unreserved, Other Backward Classes (OBC)-(NCL) & UPS/ EWS and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/PwD/ Transgender candidates.

Secondly, it was observed that when ICAR conducted the AIEEA entrance exam, for the registration, it was observed that the candidates had to fill in their ID proof details. It was a mandatory field to be filled by the candidates. However, NTA has notified that Aadhar Card number is not mandatory to be required at the time of filling in details in the AIEEA Application Form.

Till last year, AIEEA entrance exam for UG and PG admission was conducted at 56 test cities spread across the country India. However, this year, the number of test centers have been increased to 87 in comparison to last year by NTA.

The candidates must ensure that they fill in only correct information in the Application Form. NTA opens the form correction window from May 07, 2019 till May 14, 2019. To edit the details online, the aspirants need to log in by entering their Application Number and Date of Birth. In the AIEEA 2019 Application Form, the candidates will be allowed to edit all details in the Application Form except for their name, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, mobile number.

Lastly, It is advised to the candidates to keep the scanned images of their passport size photo and signature ready, The aspirants have to upload their recent colored passport size photo. The facial features of the candidate should be clearly visible in the form. Furthermore, the candidates also have to upload their signature in the Application Form. Sign on a white sheet of paper with Balck/ Blue ink pen. Sign only in running handwriting and not in Capital Letters.
