Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has announced the result of 22nd All India Entrance Examination (AIEEA). The UG entrance examination was held on June 10 and for the PG courses, it was conducted on June 11, 2017, in 37 cities. Earlier, the conducting body was supposed to disclose the result on June 30 but was delayed. Finally, it has been announced today, on July 05, 2017.

The AIEEA result has been announced for the AIEEA UG, PG and SRF entrance examination. It has been uploaded on the official website, icarexam.net. The candidates can check the result by submitting the Registration Number and Password.

Through the result, the score and the merit of the candidates have been announced. Only those candidates have been termed qualified, who have scored more than the cutoff marks. The AIEEA UG and PG qualifiers will be considered to fill 15% Bachelor and 25% Master’s seats. However, 100% UG seats in NDRI, Karnal, will be filled through AIEEA merit only.

To avoid tie while estimating the score, the marks in PCM/PCB/ABC/PCA has been used. However, if this was not sufficient to break the tie then the age of the candidates has been considered. The elder candidate has been allocated the higher rank.

The candidates can apply for re-checking of the OMR sheet. To submit the request for the same, the candidates will have to write a letter to ICAR, demanding the same. In the letter, the candidates will have to clearly mention their name, roll number, application number and other details. The candidates are supposed to submit the request for the same, within 10 days from the announcement of the result.

Along with it, the candidates will also have to submit the re-checking fee which is Rs. 500. The amount of fee can only be submitted through Demand Draft. It is to be made in favour of the “Secretary, ICAR Education Division Revolving Fund”, payable at New Delhi. If the re-checking request is submitted without submitting the fee amount, the OMR will not be re-evaluated.

The qualified candidates will be called for counselling round, where they will be granted admission in Agriculture University. The seat in the counselling round will be granted on the basis of candidate’s merit. The candidates will have to reach the venue of counselling by as notified.

The tentative date for the counselling has also been notified. The Round 1 of counselling will be held on July 07, 2017. Then, on July 17, 2017, the candidates will appear in the Round 2 of counselling. If even after two rounds of counselling, the seats remain vacant then Round 3 of it will be held on July 27, 2017.

The UG qualifiers will now be granted admission in B.Sc. Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Community Science, Sericulture, B.F.Sc., and B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering, Dairy Technology, Food Technology, and Bio- Technology.

The PG courses offered in Master’s Degree in Agricultural University, in 20 major subjects, which are Plant Biotechnology, Plant Science, Physical Science, Entomology and Nematology, Agronomy, Social Science, Statistical Science, Horticulture, Forestry/Agroforestry and Silviculture, Agriculture Engineering and Technology, Water Science and Technology, Home Science, Animal Biotechnology, Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Fisheries Science, Dairy Science, Dairy Technology, Food Science Technology, Agri-Business Management.
