ICFAI Business School (IBS) will be accepting the online application form of ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT) 2019 until today only. However, the last date to apply with CAT, GMAT, NMAT by GMAC score scores is January 31, 2020. Interested MBA aspirants can fill and submit the online application form without further delay, at ibsindia.org.
IBSAT 2019 is to be held at 95 test centers across India. It is 2 hours long computer based test, that will be held on December 21 and 22, 2019.
With few hours left to complete the application process, candidates must arrange a scanned passport size photo in JPG/JPEG format beforehand. This is to be uploaded in the online application form. The photo must be less than or equal to 25 KB in storage size and must be of 40 to160 pixels approximately.
The application process takes 20 to 30 minutes in approximation to complete in one sitting. To submit the form candidates have to make an online fee payment of Rs. 1800. The process starts with creation of a profile. To create the profile candidates have to enter details like candidate’s name, date of birth, gender, citizenship, address, email id, and contact number. To complete the profile creation candidates have to pay the application fee.
After the profile is created candidates can proceed to fill the past academic record, and uploading the documents to complete the application process.
Apart from the online application form, candidates can also purchase the offline application form from 50 IBS FTP branches across India. To locate the nearest branch candidates can follow the link ibsindia.org/contact-us/. The offline purchase of the form also costs Rs. 1800.
All those candidates who wish to pursue MBA/PGPM/Ph.D. program at IBSAT have to appear for IBSAT 2019. However, candidates who have scores of GMAT/CAT/NMAT by GMAC can skip IBSAT and apply with their scores for admission at IBSAT. Scores of these exams are valid if they are 2017 onwards.
For admission in Ph.D., candidates having UGC NET score, do not have to appear for IBSAT 2019. But, these candidates have to appear for the selection process in March 2020, where they have to submit the relevant documents for verifications.
Talking about the test structure, the question paper will have 4 sections – verbal ability, reading comprehension, quantitative ability and lastly, data 1dequacy & data interpretation. The total number of questions is 140 and all will be multiple choice based questions.
The verbal ability section will have 50 questions and the remaining 3 sections will have 30 questions each.
The candidates applying for admission in IBSAT 2019, can note that the fee for MBA/PGPM program in IBS Hyderabad is Rs. 7,02,000 per annum, for IBS Dehradun and IBS Jaipur it is Rs. 2,83,500 per annum, and for IBS Bengaluru, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Mumbai, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Kolkata, IBS Pune it is Rs. 4,00,500 per annum.
The fee for Ph.D. programme to be paid in one year is Rs. 1.2 Lakhs. But the Ph.D. students get a full waiver of the tuition fee of Rs. 60,000 per semester for 8 semesters based on their academic performance.
The placement record of IBS has been impeccable in 2019. The highest CTC has been 16.20 LPA from Mumbai campus. The success rate of the placement drive in the campuses ranged between 95% to 99%.
