ICFAI Business School (IBS) has started the registration process for ICFAI Business Studies Aptitude Test (IBSAT) 2020 on their official website, ibsindia.org. The last date to register for IBSAT is December 16, 2020, and the entrance test is scheduled on December 26 and 27, 2020 for MBA / PGPM courses in one of the prestigious IB schools in the country, ICFAI Business School. However, candidates who are appearing / have appeared for GMAT, NMAT, CAT can directly apply for admission.
IBSAT 2020 application process is online. Eligible and interested candidates have to go to the official website of the conducting body and complete their profile section by filling-in the necessary details. Next, applicants have to pay the registration fee Rs. 1800. On completion of payment, candidates get their application number and password on their registered email id and phone number.
Using the application number and password, candidates have to login and select the program to apply for admission and enter past academic records. The last step would be to upload the scanned passport-sized photo in the online form. The size of the scanned images must be less than or equal to 25 KB. It should be between 140 – 160 pixels approximately. Also, the format of the scanned image can be JPEG / GIF.
To apply for IBSAT 2020 candidates must have completed a minimum of 15 years of regular education (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis). Aspirants must have graduation degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks and medium of instruction as English. Also, applicants in their final year bachelor’s degree course are eligible to apply.
IBSAT 2020 is a computer-based entrance examination of 2 hours duration. All questions asked in the exam are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based and the question paper shall only be available in the English language. The exam shall cover important topics like quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning, and reading comprehension.
The overall selection process for admission in IBS is divided into three stages – online entrance test, group discussion (GD), and personal interview (PI). Candidates are selected for GD and PI stages based on their scores in IBSAT 2020 or GMAT, NMAT, or CAT test scores. The final admission is done based on the past academic records of candidates as well as their performance in the GD and PI stages.
The IBSAT 2020 admit card shall also be issued soon to the successfully registered candidates. To access their admit card, they have to fill in their application number and password. On the admit card, candidates can check important details like exam center, date, and time according to which they have to appear for the entrance test. Candidates must note that the admit card shall only be issued through online mode and not through any offline source like postal service or mail.
