IBPS SO Admit Card 2019

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the admit card for the preliminary examination of Specialist Officer, today. The admit card, aka call letter has been issued online at the official website, ibps.in. The examination is being conducted for six Specialist Officers cadre posts scale I namely I.T. Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, HR Personnel Officer, Law Officer, Marketing Officer, and Rajbhasha Adhikari.

The preliminary examination is scheduled to take place on two days i.e. December 28 and 29, 2019. Candidates need to carry the call letter with an original photo identity proof and a photocopy of the same to the examination venue.

How to download call letter of IBPS SO preliminary examination?

To download IBPS SO call letter, anyone who has applied for the posts has to visit the official website, ibps.in. Now, on the homepage click on the link which says “Download Online Preliminary Call Exam letter for CRP Specialist Officers -IX”. Login form will appear on the screen. Thereafter, enter the registration number/roll number and password or date of birth to download the required admit card.

Call letter of IBPS SO contains roll number, date of exam, reporting time, exam timings, venue, photograph, signature, and instructions for the examination. Candidates must keep the call letter until the day they join. No admit card will be sent by post or mail to the candidates. Without the call letter and photo ID evidence, candidates will not be allowed inside the exam center.

Inside the exam center, the following items are not permitted, any stationery item (printed or written), bits of paper, geometry / pencil Box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen / scanner, any communication device such as mobile phone, Bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band, etc.

The IBPS SO preliminary examination will be carried out in online mode. The question paper will be in both English and Hindi. The question paper will comprise 150 questions. The questions will be objective only. The examination will take place in 120 minutes.

Applicants who will appear in IBPS SO preliminary examination must note that during the examination they will receive 1.25 minutes per question. Applicants must, therefore, maintain a pace of 1.25 minutes per question to complete the test over the given period.

After the successful conduct of the preliminary examination, IBPS releases the list of qualified candidates to appear for IBPS SO main examination. CRP is preceded by the Common round of interviews with verification of documents and interviews. Scores from the interview round and the main examination were counted for the final merit list.

The IBPS recruitment specialist officer has 1163 openings for 6 posts. 76 for I.T. Officer, 670 for Agricultural Field Officer, 27 for Rajbhasha Adhikari, 60 for Law Officer, 20 for HR Personnel Officer and 310 for Marketing Officer.
