Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the application form for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee today. The interested and eligible candidates can now apply on the official website of IBPS at ibps.in The recruitment shall be done for 3562 vacancies in public sector banks. In all 20 banks are participating in the IBPS PO recruitment 2017 including Punjab National Bank, Bank of India, Central Bank of India etc. Candidates will only be able to apply until September 6, 2017. The selection process will include preliminary examination followed by the main examination and the Interview. The registration for the recruitment will be an online process. To apply for the examination, candidates must visit the official website. There are some eligibility norms which have to be fulfilled by the entrant.
Eligible candidates can apply online here. To be eligible for the post, the candidates must have completed Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or Institute. Before filling the application form, applicants must have scanned photograph and signature along with all the required documents related to age, educational qualifications and other essentials. The IBPS has also notified the age criteria for the candidates applying for the post. Applicants must be between the age of 20 years to 30 years as on July 1, 2018.
The age relaxation is granted to the reserved category candidates (ST/SC/PWD). The candidates must check the age limit before filling the application form. Candidates applying for the post must have a valid email ID and mobile number which should be kept active till the selection. The candidates have to pay a prescribed amount of application fee as decided by the conducting body.
The application fee for the recruitment is Rs. 600/- for the general candidates and Rs. 100/- for the reserved category (ST/SC/PWD) candidates. Candidates need to register themselves by submitting the required details in the application from such as personal details, contact details, educational qualification and upload the photograph and signature in the prescribed format along with the submission of application fee. After filling all the necessary details, candidates will be registered for the recruitment of IBPS PO. Clearing the preliminary examination will be the first step towards the selection for the post of Probationary Office in the prescribed banks.
The Preliminary examination for the post will be held on October 7, 8, 14 and 15 2017. However, the main examination will be held in the month of November 2017 followed by the interview in the month of January 2018. The preliminary examination shall be conducted in online mode in English or Hindi language. The question paper will contain 100 multiple choice questions which will be distributed into three subjects that are the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. Candidate will only be given 1 Hour to complete the examination. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
