The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has invited eligible aspirants to apply for IBPS Clerk VII 2017. The online registration for the recruitment began today, on September 12, 2017. The IBPS Clerk Application Form 2017 is only available online, on ibps.in. Candidates need to fill and submit it before October 3, 2017, as it is the last date to apply. Candidates should keep their document ready and apply as soon as possible, to avoid any delay.

The candidates will have to register by visiting the official website and clicking on ‘Click Here for New Registration’ button. Then, the candidates will be required to enter First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Mobile Number E-mail ID, and Security Code. Only after registration, uploading of images and details filling such as Personal Details, Educational Details, Communication Details, etc. can be done.

After entering all the details, candidates can make payment via the online payment gateway. The deadline to remit the application fee is also until October 3, 2017. The fee amount under IBPS Clerk 2017 for General Category candidates is Rs. 600 and for the SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Services Category it is Rs. 100.

The IBPS is also providing the facility to edit the application form so that the errors in the details can be corrected. The window for editing the application form will be closed on October 3 and after that, no provision for same will be provided. The entered details be valid and correct. An incomplete application is liable to rejection.

Candidates who intend to apply for recruitment must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility conditions as prescribed by IBPS. As per it, the age of the candidate should be between 20 to 28 years. Relaxation for the reserved category is applicable. Also, the candidates must have obtained a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University. Other than the mentioned criteria, proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

The IBPS Clerk Preliminary exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 2, 3, 9, and 10, 2017. Candidates who will qualify the prelims will be able to appear for the IBPS Clerk Main examination. The due date for the Main exam is January 21, 2018. The candidates need not submit a separate application form to participate in it.

The admit card for the Prelims and Main will be issued separately at IBPS Clerk official website. The Prelims admit card will be available in the month of November 2017 and call letter for the Main examination can be downloaded in January 2018. It is mandatory for the candidates to bring the admit card along with the valid id proof in order to appear for the test.

IBPS Clerk VII is being conducted to fill 7883 vacancies in 19 different participating organizations such as Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Punjab National Bank, United Bank of India, Syndicate Bank, Central Bank of India etc.The final merit list for the selection will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the Main examination followed by the document verification.

The Prelims exam will consist of MCQ questions of 100 marks, which the candidates have to complete in a composite time of 1 hour. The questions in the Prelims will be asked from English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. Whereas for the Main exam, the questions will be from General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude. The exam pattern of the Mains exam has changed for the upcoming recruitment. Now, the candidate will have to solve 190 questions of 200 marks, within the duration of 160 minutes.
