Board of Secondary Education Haryana (BSEH) has extended the registration deadline for Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2019 to October 21, 2019. Initially, the last date to apply online was supposed to be today, October 18, 2019. Now candidates have three more days to fill and submit their application forms in order to appear in the state level teacher eligibility test.
After that, corrections in application form will be allowed from October 19 to 23, 2019. Candidates will be able to edit details of name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, identity proof, gender, secondary exam roll number and board name, subject name in level 2 and 3. Changes will not be allowed in level, caste category, physically challenged status, level.
Other than that, BSEH has also published the exam schedule for HTET 2019. Level 3 exam for PGT lecturer will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019, from 3 pm to 5.30 pm. Then on Sunday, November 17, 2019, level 2 exam will be held for TGT teacher for classes 6th to 8th, from 10 am to 12.30 pm. On the same day, level 1 exam for primary teacher for classes 1st to 5th will be held from 3 pm to 5.30 pm.
More than one application form must not be submitted. Forms should only be submitted online at htetonline.com. Attempt to apply in any other mode like through email, post, or fax will be rejected.
Details entered in the form should match official documents of the applicant, such as their class 10 certificate. Photograph uploaded should show 60% of the face. Incorrect details in the form may lead to cancellation of results.
Until confirmation page is generated, form is not considered as submitted. In case confirmation page does not generate, candidate should contact Assistant Secretary (Special Exam Cell) of Board, with proof of fee payment.
BSEH will issue admit card for HTET November 2019 examination on November 8, 2019, at htetonline.com. To download it, applicants shall have to login with their registration number and password. It will contain roll number and exam center assigned, other than other details of the candidate.
Admit card will not be sent by post. And any mistake in the document, things that are different from confirmation page, should be informed to the board.
Previous Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test was conducted on January 5 and 6, this year. The result was announced on March 20. Overall 3,32,366 candidates appeared in all three categories. Out of them, 14,934 candidates cleared the exam. Pass percentage of level 1 was 5.71%, for level 2 it was 4.78%, and for level 3 it was 2.55%.
The qualifying marks in HTET are 60% for all categories except SC and SA. Qualifying marks for SC and DA are 55%. However for SC and DA candidates of other states, it is 60% only. There is no negative marking in the exam. Qualifying certificate will be valid for a period of five (5) years from the date of declaration of result.
