Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has announced the result of Himachal Pradesh State Open School (HP SOS) result of plus two September 2019 exam. A total of 10,167 students had appeared in the exam. Out of which, 5,310 have passed, and 4,244 have to re-appear. As a result, the pass percentage stands at 52.23%.
Students who wish to apply for rechecking or revaluation can submit their application through their study centers. The revaluation and rechecking application will be accepted only until November 18, 2019. Students need to pay a fee of Rs 500 for revaluation, and Rs 400 for rechecking per subject. It may be noted that the form for the same is online only, accessible from study centres. Under no circumstances will the board accept offline applications.
For the ease of students of the open school, the board will entertain all queries pertaining to the HP SOS result September 2019 for 12th class on all working days from 10 am to 5 pm, at the phone number 01892-242152.
To check the result, one has to go to hpbose.org, and click the link results, in top menu. On the next page, they have to click “HPSOS 12th Examination Result, September-2019 “. Then, enter roll number to see results.
The board has conveyed subject wise marks as well as overall passing status through the online result.
HPBOSE had conducted the exams for 12th class SOS students from September 12, 2019, to September 26, 2019. This time the board has announced results within 37 days. Last time class 12th results were announced in 34 days. Also last year, the board had published result of class 10th and 12th on the same date. Therefore it is expected that HP SOS result September 2019 for 10th class will also be announced very soon.
After that, result of re-checking and revaluation is expected to be announced in the month of December. Students who need to reappear will also have to fill up the relevant form, for which, notice needs to be checked on the HPBOSE website. In the window that will be provided, they must fill and submit the application form with requisite fees.
HP SOS is helping students get education through open schooling. The board conducts HP SOS exams twice a year, in March and September. The open schooling exams are managed by HPBOSE, that looks after the school level education in the state. Last month, the board had announced DElEd and JBT results as well. And more recently, it has postponed HP TET from November 9, 2019, to November 17, 2019. The board thus looks after not just school education, but other exams as well.
This year in HPBOSE result, 60.79% passed in class 10th and 62.01% passed the class 12th exams. Around 1.1 lakh students had appeared in the former and 58 thousand plus appeared in the latter. Both pass percentages saw a slight dip from the previous year.
