The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has released the notification for HPBOSE Date Sheet 2019 today i.e. on December 17, 2018. The notification is available for the Regular/ Compartment/ Improvement/ Open School. Candidates can download the notification for class 8, 10, and 12. According to the date sheet, the board exams for class 8 and 10 will be held from March 07, 2019 while for Class 12, the board will conduct the exams from March 06, 2019.
The candidates can download the notification for HPBOSE Date Sheet 2019 online on the official website i.e. hpbose.org. On the homepage, click on the tab named “Notification”. Among all the notifications, the candidates can click on the relevant link for the board exams. HPBOSE has not released the entire date sheet yet. It will be available a few days later.

According to the notification, the exams for class 8 will be held from March 07 to March 20, 2019. For class 10, the exams will be conducted from March 07 to March 20, 2019. HPBOSE will conduct class 12 exams from March 06 to March 29, 2019.
For the regular/ compartment/ improvement/ additional subjects, the exams will be held from 8:45 am to 12:00 noon while for the open school exams, the timing is 1:45 pm to 5:00 pm.
Apart from the written exams, the dates for the practical exams are also available. Matric practical exams will be held from February 21 to February 28, 2019. HPBOSE will conduct the practical exams for class 12 from February 15 to March 01, 2019.
The exam dates for the 2019 session is are the same as the last year’s exam dates. In 2018, the first exam for class 10 was Hindi and the last one was various optional subjects. According to the class 12 last year’s date sheet, the first and the last exams were English and Music respectively. So, this year, the candidates may get the same date sheet or near to the same.
Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education was established in the year 1969. The headquarter of the board was situated in Shimla later it was shifted to Dharamshala. The shifting was done in the year 1983. It was established under Act No. 14 of 1968. The board is well known as HPBOSE. First, the board came into existence with the number of staff 34 people. Now, it has increased to 643. HPBOSE conducts examination for classes 10th, 10+2, J.B.T and T.T.C. More than 5 lakh students take part in the board exams. Presently more than 8000 schools are affiliated with the Board.
