Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has released the admit card for the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET) admit card today on November 12, 2019. Admit card has been released for TET Urdu and TET Punjabi. The direct downloadable link has been made available on the official website of the board.
First thing to download the admit card for HP TET is to visit the official website of the board which is hpbose.org ->> Soon after landing on the main page candidates would be able to see on the top “TET (NOV 2019)” link in black ->> Click on the link and a new window gets generated ->> On the same page a link to download the admit card for exams is available in red ->> Click on the link ->> after clicking on the link, a login window gets open ->> Enter your login credentials ->> Hit the submit button and download the HP TET admit card 2019.
Candidates would be needing their application number and date of birth as their login credentials to download their admit card for Punjabi TET and Urdu TET exam which is scheduled to be on November 17, 2019.
Admit card for JBT TET and Shatri TET are expected in few days. Both the exams are on November 24, 2019. The TGT non medical TET and language TET have both been already held on November 10, 2019. TGT arts and TGT medical are today, that is November 12, 2019, and therefore their admit card links will be available until end of the day; however for the exams that have concluded, admit cards are no longer available for download.
If in case any candidate forgets their application number then the board has extended the opportunity to retrieve the same by clicking on the “forgot application number” link. Just after clicking on the link, candidates will be asked to enter some details like the subject, candidate’s name, mobile number and date of birth. After entering all these details hit the submit button and retrieve your application number sent on the registered mobile number.
Both the exams are on the same date but in the different shifts and timings. Punjabi TET will be held in the morning starting from 10:00 AM till 12:30 PM and after that, Urdu TET is set for the afternoon session starting from 2:00 PM till 4:30 PM. Both the examinations are for a total duration of 2:30 hours.
The exam will be held in a pen and paper mode having 150 multiple choice questions which need to be done in 150 minutes or 2 hours 30 minutes. All the questions will have four alternative options out of which one correct answer has to be marked by the candidate in the OMR sheet. There is no negative marking in this exam.
Whereas the pattern per se remains the same for both the papers, the syllabi are different. In TET Punjabi paper, questions 1 to 120 will be questions based on the punjabi course of graduation and in TET Urdu the same will be from the Urdu course of graduation. Rest 121 to 150 questions will be on general awareness including himachal pradesh current affairs an environmental studies. As far as the standard of questions are concerned, the standard of TET punjabi is graduation level of patiala university and TET urdu is graduation level of J&K university.
