Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has extended the online registration date as well as the fee submission date for the post of PGT teacher. Earlier, the last date to register was September 18, 2019 and fee payment was September 24, 2019. Now the registration date has been extended till September 26, 2019 and fee can be submitted by September 30, 2019.
Also, as per the examination calendar of HSSC, the exam will be held on four dates – March 8, 2020, March 15, 2020, March 22, 2020, and March 29, 2020. Talking about HSSC exams, the HSSC clerk recruitment 2019 exam concludes today.
Before applying, candidates should be aware of eligibility conditions of PGT teacher post. The minimum age limit is 18 and maximum is 42 years. Other than this, it is mandatory to be qualified in Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or School Teachers Eligibility test (STET) of the concerned subject. Those who have studied Hindi or Sanskrit in matriculation will be considered for the post.
Candidates who could not apply earlier can apply now by visiting the official website of HSSC, hssc.gov.in. Candidates have fill all the details while filling the online application form. A registration number and password will get generated. Note down the same to take a print out of the online filled application form and e-challan form. No request for change of any particular on the application form shall be entertained by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission after the extended date.
The amount of the application fee is Rs 500. However, the female residents of Haryana, and all gender candidates from SC, BC, EWS category need to pay a fee of Rs 125. PwD and Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from paying the fees. The fees has to be submitted online through debit card / credit card / net banking / e-challan.
The documents that needs to be uploaded in the application form are – A scanned copy of essential academic qualifications and matriculation certificate, scanned copy of SC / BCA / BCB / EWS / ESp / ESM / DESM / DFF / pwD (person with Disabilities) certificate along with Haryana domicile certificate issued by competent authority, a scanned copy of Certificate claiming weightage / marks under socio economic criteria and experience, a scanned photo and signature duly signed by the candidate, experience certificate.
The application form might get rejected, if there is more than one application form or application is incomplete or the full fee is not deposited in the manner prescribed / applicant does not possess the requisite academic qualification / candidate is underage or overage / variation in data of the online application form and in original documents detected at any stage / lack of essential qualifications.
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of a written test conducted for 90 marks and socio-economic criteria and experience of 10 marks. The exam is likely to be held in the month of October or November. It will be either online (computer based test) or OMR based.
A total of 3,864 vacancies will be filled up for twelve posts – 127 in the department of Biology, 131 in Chemistry, 304 in Commerce, 1373 in Computer Science, 530 in English, 35 in Fine arts, 194 in Hindi, 329 in History, 522 in Maths, 35 in Music, 241 in Physical education, 6 in Urdu, 37 in Computer Science of Mewat Region.
