Haryana State Cooperative Apex Bank Ltd Chandigarh has released a notification underlining vacancies in itself and 18 district central coop banks in Haryana. As per the notification, a total of 978 vacancies have been identified in the banks. Interested and eligible bank job aspirants can apply online at harcobank.org.in through the online application form that will remain available up until its last date of August 31.
The vacancy distribution post wise is as follows. In the clerk position, there are 790 vacancies. Junior Accountant post has 123 vacancies. Senior Accountant position comprises of 35 vacancies. Then there are 30 vacancies of Assistant Manager / Development Officer. These vacancies are in HARCO Bank and DCCBs. The DCCBs where these vacancies are identified are Ambala, Bhiwani, Faridabad, Fatehabad, Gurgaon, Panchkula, Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Mahendergarh, Yamuna Nagar, Rohtak, Sirsa, Sonepat, Jind, Panipat, and Jhajjar.
Co-operative banks are the banks registered under Cooperative Societies Act in India. RBI has listed cooperative banks at rbi.org.in as scheduled state co-operative banks, non-scheduled state co-operative banks, scheduled urban cooperative banks, non-scheduled urban cooperative banks, state cooperative banks, and district cooperative banks. All banks including cooperative banks can accept deposits. Cooperative banks play an important role in rural as well as urban areas.

Notification and link to apply online appear on the next page. The application form submission process is completely online. Application fee for the recruitment is Rs 600 for general category. It is Rs 300 for SC, BCA, BCB, EBPG (EWS) categories.
There will be computer based tests for the purpose of selection of clerk, junior accountant, and senior accountant. Exam date is likely to be in October or November of this year at Chandigarh-Mohali, Ambala, Jind, Karnal, Panipat, Rohtak, Hisar, Sonepat, Gurugram, Faridabad, Yamuna Nagar, Kurukshetra.
For the position of clerk, there will be a preliminary test and then a main test. Preliminary test will be of 90 minutes. It will have 30 questions of 30 marks each from three sections namely english language, reasoning, numerical ability.
Thereafter there will be main exam. It will have six sections to be attempted in 150 minutes overall. There will be reasoning with 30 questions of 15 marks, general awareness with 25 questions of 12.5 marks, numerical ability with 30 questions of 15 marks. Then there will be englieh language with 25 questions of 12.5 marks, current affairs with 25 questions of 12.5 marks, history, current affairs, literature, geography, civics, environment, culture of Haryana with 45 questions of 22.5 marks.
Junior accountant, senior accountant, assistant manager / development officer post selection shall comprise of a single online exam, on the similar pattern of prelims exam of clerk.
Those who get selection through HARCO bank recruitment 2019 to said posts will have to qualify HARTRON SET C within 2 years of probation. However those with relevant qualifications as listed under exceptions of the test under the notification, need not take the test.
The educational qualification requirements differ for each post. Graduates with 55% marks or commerce graduates with 50% can apply for clerk position. B.Com / BA with Economics or math, or BSc with Math as one of the subjects with 55%, or B.Tech with 60%, can apply as junior accountant. Likewise senior accountant position requires one to have at least 55% in commerce / science with math or BA with math or economics with 3 year experience, or 50% marks in M.Com or MA with math or economics can apply.
Those with 60% in graduation in science with math /arts with economics or math / commerce / B.Tech, or post graduate in math / economics / commerce / business administration / engineering with 55% in either graduation or post graduation or chartered accountant with 55% marks, or PG with 50% marks in economics / math / commerce with CAIIB, or master in banking and insurance management with 60% marks can apply for assistant manager / development officer post.
Knowledge of Hindi or Sanskrit up to class 10 level is a requirement for all posts.
All posts except assistant manager / development officer belong to pay matrix level 6, that is Rs 35400-112400. Assistant manager / development officer post are in pay matrix level 7 that is Rs 44900-142400.
