GUJCET 2019 Application Form has been released by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board (GSEB) on its official website gujcet.gseb.org one day before the scheduled date. The application form will be available from January 24, 2019, to February 08, 2019.
The registration process has been taken online entirely this time. Now the candidates need to register online and generate their password using OTP verification. Until last year the candidates had to get the login pin manually from the designated centers.
Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2019 has been scheduled to be held on 23 April 2019 at the allotted exam centres. Candidates are advised to fill the form as soon as its possible because every conducting body uses the policy of first-come-first-serve in the test centre allotment.
GUJCET Application Form Filling Process
Candidates need to follow certain steps to successfully register themselves online and fill the GUJCET 2019 Application Form. The first step would be to register and generate the password. On successful registration, the candidates will have to log in using the password and username. Then they need to pay the application fee of Rs. 300/- using e-challan or online payment getaways. On successful payment, the application form will appear on the screen. Candidates need to fill the accreditations diligently such as personal details, educational qualification and qualifying exam related details.
Who Is Eligible To Apply For GUJCET 2019?
Before applying online for GUJCET 2019, candidates must ensure that they are fully eligible for the same. There are some guidelines that need to be followed by aspiring candidates else their application invite will not be accepted by the conducting body. A candidate should be an Indian citizen first of all then the permanent resident of the State Gujarat. Although the candidates who belong to other States are also eligible to apply as well. In the education qualifications, the candidates must have passed or appeared for 10+2 or equivalent level of studies from a recognized Board. And lastly, the candidates must have secured at least 45% in the qualifying exam and 40% in case of reserved candidates.
GUJCET 2019 is the offline examination which has to be completed within 2 hours as a prescribed time specified by the Board. In this exam, there will be four sections and that are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. There will be 120 questions in the question paper whereas each section will contain 40 questions. Though the marking scheme for the same will be +1 on each correct response and -1/4 or 0.25 mark on each incorrect answer.
