National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conclude the registration process for GPAT 2020 today, on November 30, 2019. Candidates who wish to appear in the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test can fill the online application form today upto 11:50 PM. Those who have filled out the application form and have completed the required document uploading process must pay the application fee up to December 01, 2019 (11:50 PM). Applicants can also submit choices of city until December 2, 2019 upto 11:50 PM.
Those who aspire to pursue postgraduate program in Pharmacy, M.Pharm, may note that only those who have successfully submitted the application form will be able to appear for NTA GPAT 2020 entrance exam.

Before applying, candidates may ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria given by the NTA. For appearing in the GPAT 2020 exam, candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy after 10+2. Those who are appearing in the bachelor’s degree final year and the result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2020-21 can also apply for the test.
In order to apply fot the entrance exam, candidates have to first register and then fill in necesarry details like personal information, academic qualification details, etc. Candidates who have filled the application form must pay the application fee of amount Rs 1600/- [for General/Gen-EWS/OBC (NCL)] and Rs. 800/- [for Girls, SC/ST/PwD/ Transgender]. Fee can be paid online through Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/UPI/PayTM.
After the submission of the application fee, candidates have to give the choice of exam centre until the last date to pay the application fee. Exam centre to the candidates will be allotted on a first come-first served basis. All the eligible candidates who have submitted the online application and paid the examination fee till last date will be allowed to appear in GPAT – 2020 and their admit cards will be uploaded on the website on December 24, 2019.
The image correction facility is also available for the candidates. However, it can be availed by only those candidates who have received an SMS or email by NTA regarding the discrepancy in the image uploaded in the GPAT application form. In order to edit their images, such candidates have to log in to their account using application number and password. Candidates need to upload the scanned image of photograph (between 10 kb – 200 kb) and signature (between 4kb – 30 kb) in their prescribed format only.
Admit card is an important document to be carried at the time of examination along with a passport size photograph and a valid Id proof. Candidate can be able to download the admit card by logging in with the application number and password. Computer-based test (CBT) GPAT 2020 will be held on January 28, 2020 (Tuesday) from 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre on date & time mentioned on the admit card.
Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a national level entrance exam which is conducted to offer admission to candidates in M.Pharm programmes. Until the year 2018, the entrance test was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The score for GPAT is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges. A few scholarships and other financial assistance in the field of Pharmacy are also provided on the basis of the GPAT score.
