India Post is the name by which Department of Posts, a subsidiary of Ministry of Communications, trades. In operations for the last 165 years, India Post publishes recruitment notification circle wise.
Of the 23 circles, vacancies are right now available in Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Maharashtra. The department is accepting applications in online mode. India Post GDS recruitment 2019 is open for class 10th pass candidates who are between 18 to 40 years old as on the cut off date. The cut off date for calculating age is October 15, 2019 for AP, TS, CG, and November 1, 2019 for Maharashtra postal circle recruitment. The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC, ST.
Another thing is that applicant should have secured passing marks in class 10th, and had maths and english as compulsory or elective subjects. In addition, candidate should have knowledge of the local language.
Maharashtra postal circle recruitment 2019 is open for 3,650 vacancies. The cut off date for age limit calculations is November 1, 2019. Registration as well as application form submission commenced on November 1, 2019, and will end on November 30, 2019. For this circle, Marathi or Konkani for Goa region, Marathi for all other regions as one of the subjects is required.
Andhra Pradesh postal circle recruitment 2019 is for 2,707 posts. Language requirement is of Telugu.
Telangana postal circle recruitment 2019 is for 970 vacancies. Language required here too is Telugu.
Chhattisgarh postal circle recruitment 2019 is for 1,799 vacancies. Language applicable here is Hindi.
For the later three circles mentioned, registration and fee payment started on October 15, 2019, and will end on November 14, 2019. Their application form submission process started on October 22, 2019, and will end on November 21, 2019.
And this is not all. India Post is simultaneously also processing results for 10,066 vacancies. The department is all set to fill 919 vacancies in Assam, 1,063 vacancies in Bihar, 2,510 of them in Gujarat, 2,637 seats in Karnataka, 2,086 such in Kerala, and 851 in Punjab. Moreover before that, India Post has already announced results for 174 vacancies for Delhi, 757 for Himachal Pradesh, 804 for Jharkhand, 4,392 vacancies in Odisha, and 4,442 for Tamilnadu.
