Indian Navy AA SSR 2020 online application form is now available for the August 2020 batch joinings. The last date to apply against 500 Artificer Apprentice (AA) and 2200 Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) vacancies, is November 18, 2019. Applications are invited from unmarried male candidates who have qualified 12th with 60% with maths, physics and at least one the subjects among chemistry, biology, computer science, to apply for AA, and 12th pass with same subject requirement but now marks limit to apply for SSR.
Before going further it is critical to go through the notifications and documents published on the website once. The official website to access the information is joinindiannavy.gov.in.
Coming to the registration process, the entire process is online only as no offline mode is taken into consideration by the navy. The first step towards the application form is registration. For registration visit the website of Indian navy – joinindiannavy.gov.in and scroll down to find the link to apply online.
For registering and applying for Indian Navy candidates have to set up their account using their Aadhar details or any other ID card details like PAN card, driving license, voter id , passport and class 10th and 12th certificate and set up the account to monitor the status of their application. After this click on save for continuing to the registration process.
The third step is to enter the personal details mentioned in the registration form like the name of the candidate, mobile number, father’s name, mother’ name, date of birth, nationality, domicile, gender, marital status, and two identification mark.
After the personal details enter your highest educational details and additional qualifications if any. Once done with the qualifications, candidates have to provide the account details like email id and password and agree to the terms and conditions as stated by the navy. Click on save and soon your registration will be done.
Once done with registering of the account. The details will be sent on the email id and the fourth step is to login into the account using your registered email id and password. Soon after this candidates account will get open.
The fifth step after this is to provide the in-depth details of the highest education selected by the candidate. Also, upload the “marksheet of that particular” of size upto 2MB in a JPG format. In this part of the form, the applicants have to provide and upload the images of the certificate from 10th class to the highest qualification selected. Like if the applicant has selected 12th as his highest then upload 10th and 12th marksheet with details.
It is equally important to know this that in the form, applicants will be asked to upload the passing certificate issued by the school, if not having one, then have to upload the class 10th marksheet one more time.
The sixth step is to save and fill the communication details like address, state and district. Along with it candidates have to upload the scanned images of their photograph, signature and domicile proof (if applicable). The size of the images should be less than 100 KB.
Important to note that the background of the passport size photograph should be “Blue” only.
The next step is to save and submit the information and then click on the current opportunities tab available there. Soon after all the details entered so far will be published. Preview all the details and continue. In the end candidates have to give their preference either for AA or SSR and choose your two exam location.
The final step for the application form is to make the online payment according to the category a candidate lies in. A fee of Rs. 215 can be paid online using different payment options except for the SC/ST candidates for whom fee is exempted.
All the online applications submitted are further scrutinised to check the eligibility and at any stage, it can be rejected if found ineligible due to any reason.
