Andhra Pradesh postal circle has published notification for recruitment to the post of Gramin Dak Sevak, for 2,707 vacancies. The community wise vacancies for EWS, OBC, PWD A, PWD B, PWD C, PWD DE, SC, ST, UR are respectively 384, 593, 21, 35, 34, 11, 286, 165, 1178. Candidates can apply online at appost.in until November 14, 2019.
Minimum time related continuity allowance for dak sevak for four hours / level 1 will be Rs 10,000. And that for five hours / level 2 will be Rs 12,000.
To become a gramin dak sevak, one should be between 18 to 40 years old as on October 15, 2019, which was the starting date of application form submissions. Whereas educational qualification required is class 10th pass with massing marks in mathematics, and english. Community wise vacancies in Chhattisgarh are EWS – 222, OBC – 54, PWDA – 18, PWD B – 18, PWD C – 18, PWD DE – 18, SC – 232, ST – 552, UR – 667. In Telangana, vacancy distribution is EWS – 114, OBC – 176, PWD A – 10, PWD B – 13, PWD C – 13, PWD DE – 1, SC – 119, ST – 85, UR – 439.
