Directorate of Tea Tribes Welfare, Assam has released the application form for admission to GNM program, at ttwd.assam.gov.in. The application form uploaded on the website has to be downloaded by interested and eligible candidates. Who then need to send it with required documents by the last date.
This is a special admission drive for 3 years GNM course admission under GNM institutes of government of Assam, for unmarried students who belong to the Tea Tribes community of the state. Details of the admission, and registration, have been provided on the official website ttwd.assam.gov.in.
Eligibility for the course dictates that such candidates who belong to the recognized category, have passed 10+2 exam in any stream including arts, science, commerce. They should have at least 45% marks in higher secondary final exam, and should be between 17 to 37 years of age as on January 1, 2019.
They have to apply by sending the filled in form with relevant documents in such a way that the same is received by the director within January 6, 2020.
The directorate has reserved 60% seats for HSSLC science stream, and 40% for commerce and arts stream.
After scrutiny of received applications, the directorate will shortlist candidates district wise, and call eligible candidates for document verification and oral interview which a screening committee will conduct, in Guwahati, for the final selections.
Selected candidates will get free of cost training and financial assistance, as per the norms of the Tea Tribes Welfare Department.
A total of 250 seats are up on offer through this GNM Nursing admission 2019-20 process.
How to get the GNM Nursing Application Form 2019-20 Assam?
Candidates need to visit ttwd.assam.gov.in. There, click the link with text “GNM courses under GNM Institutions of Govt. of Assam, as a special drive for un-married students belonging to Tea Tribes Community of Assam for the year 2019-20” under the latest section.
On the next page, links for two documents will appear. One is the notice, and the other is the application form. The application form is in the local language, and candidates need to fill all the details asked in it correctly. A passport size photo too has to be pasted on it.
Details required to be filled in the form include name, father’s or mother’s name, address, educational qualification details, bank details.
