Gujarat Mineral Research & Industrial Consultancy Society (GMRICS) is inviting applications on prescribed proforma for recruitment to the post of Mining Sirdar. 50 vacancies on contract have been advertised for the aforementioned posts in a detailed notification available at gmdcltd.com. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the recruitment till September 10, 2020, by forwarding their applications to [email protected] on or before the last date.
As per the notification released by GMRICS, the available vacancies are to be filled up on a contractual basis for a maximum period of 11 months. The vacancies for the post of Mining Sirdar are available in various mines in the state of Gujarat. Eligible candidates who are selected for final appointment are entitled to receive monthly consolidated payment during the period of appointment. Candidates will receive payment of Rs 20000 for the aforementioned contract period.

One must ensure to check and fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions before applying for the recruitment. The maximum age of the applicants cannot be more than 45 years. In addition, candidates must have the minimum qualification of Mine Sirdar/Overman/II Class Mine Manager. The Certificate of Competency in the said disciplines must be awarded by DGMS, Dhanbad. Since the advertised vacancies are for a statutory post under the Coal Mines Regulation, 2017, therefore, only those candidates who possess valid certificates are eligible to apply. Those having equivalent qualification or any other qualification are not eligible to apply.
Apart from the aforementioned monthly consolidates salary of Rs 20000, candidates are not entitled to receive any other compensation or benefits. Selection and appointment of eligible applicants is to be done purely on a contractual basis and candidates do not have any right to claim for permanent employment in GMRICS after the completion of the contract period. The organization reserves the right to make modifications in the posts advertised or cancel the recruitment without assigning any reason.
