The Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) has released the examination schedule of the Phase 6 of GITAM Admission Test (GAT) 2021. The last date for applying via gat.gitam.edu is August 30, 2021. GAT 2021 Phase 6 will be conducted on September 01, 2021 from 9 AM to 4 PM. The results will be declared on September 02, 2021 while the counselling is going to be held on September 03 and 04, 2021.
GITAM GAT 2021 is for candidates who want to seek admission to UG and PG programs like Architecture, Basic Sciences, Engineering, Humanities, Law, Management, etc. in the desired GITAM campuses. To make an online application for GAT 2021 Phase 6, candidates can follow these steps:
Step 1- Go to gat.gitam.edu and click on the ‘Apply Now’ button on the top right corner of the screen
Step 2- A new page will open where one has to click on the ‘Register’ option
Step 3- Now, they have to enter their full name, email ID, phone number and create a password
Step 4- After that, the candidate has to log in using the username and password.
Upon successful login, candidates can fill the application form. Please note that the application fee for every selected course is Rs 800. In case a candidate has any queries, then they can call the concerned authorities at 8880884000 or send an email at gat@gitam.edu. They are further advised to go through the GAT-2021 information, instructions and eligibility criteria before applying online.
In terms of eligibility criteria, every UG and PG GITAM course has varying requirements. Students can go through the course-wise eligibility for every UG and PG stream available on the website. GITAM GAT question paper carries 100 objective-type questions. For every correct question, 02 marks will be awarded. Incorrect answers and unanswered questions will receive no marks. The syllabus for the courses is also available on the website.
The GAT Phase 6 examination will be conducted online and students can appear for the test using a computer, tablet or mobile phone. Further, candidates also have to attend a personal interview prior to counselling. Interviews for the Humanities UG and PG streams will be held at the Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam campuses while those for Law UG and PG streams will be conducted only at the Visakhapatnam campus. Similarly, interviews for Science UG and PG streams will be held at the Hyderabad campus. However, all campuses will conduct interviews for the Management PG stream.
