GGSIPU extends IPU CET 2021 Application Form Last Date by 16 Days

The deadline for applying to various programmes was July 15, 2021, which has now been shifted to July 31, 2021.

GGSIPU extends IPU CET 2021 Application Form Last Date by 16 Days

The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has extended the last date of filing the application form of various programmes to July 31, 2021. Earlier the last date was July 15, 2021, and the filing of the online application form commenced on June 11, 2021. The candidates who are eligible for the different programs offered by the University can apply for the same by visiting the official website i.e. ipu.ac.in. The entrance dates for the various programmes will be notified soon by the concerned authorities. The IPU CET 2021 will be conducted for almost all UG/PG courses offered by the University. However, CET is not applicable for the B.Tech and  BA LLB (Integrated) courses.

The maximum age limit for the various UG courses will be 21 years, MBBS courses will be 25 years, for PG courses will be 35 years while the same is none for the BA LLB course. The educational qualification for all the UG courses is passing 10+2 with 50% marks in relevant disciplines. While the basic academic qualification for the PG courses is clearing a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline with 50% marks in aggregate. 

The Application form of the IPU CET 2021 is available on the official website of the University. On the portal, the candidates are required to click on the Admission 2021-22 along with the Admission Portal Link. Post this, the candidates are required to click on Registration 2021. On the registration page, the candidates will be required to enter the Candidate’s name, ISD name, Mobile Number, Email Id, choosing User Id and Password, and click on the Submit button. 

Next on the application form page, the candidates will be required to enter their Name, Date of Birth, Category, Region, Qualifying Exam, Nationality, Mailing Address, and visible marks of identification. Thereafter the candidates have to upload their photograph on the application with the size specification mentioned. In the end, the candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs 1200 via online payment method i.e. Debit Card/Credit Card, etc. 

The University will conduct the IPU CET 2021 once the dates have been finalized by the same. The entrance test is an online computer-based test wherein the questions will be based on the core subjects that the candidate has studied in the previous examination. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for all the wrong answers and the questions which had more than one answer. The final merit list will be derived on the basis of the student’s performance in the entrance tests.
