Today i.e. February 28, 2019, Food Corporation of India (FCI) opened the application window for FCI Recruitment 2019 at the official website, fci.gov.in. The applications are invited for filling the 4103 vacancies on the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Assistant Grade-II Hindi, Stenographer Grade II, Typist Hindi, Assistant Grade III (AG III) (General, Accounts, Technical, Depot). The online application window will remain open until March 30, 2019. The candidates generate the print out of the application form until April 14, 2019.
The application form was postponed to February 28, 2019. Earlier the same application process was supposed to start on February 23, 2019.
Total vacancies are distributed over five zones – East zone – 538, West zone – 735, North zone -1999, South Zone – 540, NE zone – 291. The candidates should note that, Since there are 05 zones and 09 posts, candidates can opt for any one post under one zone. The candidates can’t apply for more than one zone and post.
The Corporation will select the application form, from those candidates who will fit in the prescribed criteria laid down by itself. Each post under this recruitment requires a graduation degree except for the JE, the candidates most posses 01-year experience and Degree/diploma. For Steno, the candidates must have the O‘ level qualification of DOEACC. For the post of AG-III, proficiency in the computer is mandatory.
For AG-II,01-years experience as a translator is the must from English to Hindi and Vice Versa and must have a graduation degree in Hindi as the main subject. The Hindi typist must have requisite typing speed.
The candidates have to register themselves from the official website by submitting the demanded amount of fee. The application fee for FCI Recruitment is Rs. 500/- (Excluding GST) for Unreserved candidates. The candidates belonging to the SC / ST / PWD / Serving Defence Personnel / Ex-Serviceman are spared to pay the fee. FCI provided only one mode of payment the candidates can use their credit cards/ Debit Card/internet banking / IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets/UPI to pay the fee.
The FCI has decided to conduct the two phases examination scheme for the recruitment of candidates. Both examinations will be held online, the phase I exam will be common for each post. but phase II exam will be as per the respective post applied by the candidates. The examination will be conducted in the month of March/ April/ May 2019.
