FCI recruitment 2019 for managers has been notified through Advt No.02/2019-FCI Category-II. The online application form for the same will be available from tomorrow i.e September 28, 2019. Last date to apply for the post is October 27, 2019.
Vacancies in this recruitment are divided according to the zone wise for each posts. A total of 187 vacancies will be filled up in the north zone, 65 in the south zone, 15 in west zone, 37 in east zone, 26 in north-east zone.
Candidates who are willing to apply for the post of Manager (General/ Depot/ Movement/ Accounts/ Technical/ Civil Engineering/ Electrical Mechanical Engineering), the maximum age limit should be 28 years as on 1st August 2019. Whereas candidates who are willing to apply for the post of Manager (Hindi), the maximum age limit should be 35 years.
The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years and 3 years for candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC, 50 years for departmental (FCI) employee, 10 years for PwDB candidates belonging to SC and ST and 13 years for PwDB candidates belonging to OBC, 5 years for those who been domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir during the period 01-01-1980 to 31-12- 1989.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of online examinations (Phase-I and Phase – II) followed by a Interview round. Those who qualifies in two phases of the examination, will be called for Interview in a ratio of 1:3 to be conducted by FCI. The venue, time and date of the interview will be informed in call letter for the Interview. The interview round carries a weightage of 10 %.
The call letter for the online test will indicate the time and venue of the examination. Candidates will be able to download the admit cards with approximately 10 days prior to the date of the examination onwards. Dates for downloading the call letters will be notified in due course at the official website of FCI.
After the conduction of the exam, FCI will combine the final scores of obtained in both, the online written exam and Interview. Candidates who are meritorious and whose documents have been verified successfully, they will be shortlisted for further appointment as a Manager (Hindi) or as a management trainee (MTs) for General/Depot/Movement/Accounts/Technical/Civil Engineering/ Electrical Mechanical Engineering cadre.
The selected candidates as a management trainee will be paid within a rate of Rs 40,000 per month. Once the training period i.e for 6 months is over, they will be considered for absorption as Managers in the IDA pay scale of Rs 40000 to 140000.
