In addition to that, the notice also informs that the candidates need not upload the supporting document now in the JEE Main 2019 Application Form. However, they have to upload while filling the JEE Advanced 2019 Application Form.

What is EWS Quota? – EWS or Economically Weaker Section Quota has been introduced by the Government of India for the economically weaker General category candidates of the country. This quota will be applicable  in government jobs and educational institutions from now on.

As we know NTA is to take the JEE Main 2019 in two sessions and the January session for the same has already been conducted. All those candidates who have already taken the exam in the first session and belong to the EWS category can also visit the website and mark the same before the application form correction last date.

In addition to the above, all those candidates who have already applied for JEE Main April 2019 session and belong to the EWS Category are also eligible to mark the same in the application form between March 11 to 15, 2019. The process to do so remains the same as mentioned above.

Also, there are candidates who are still planning to apply for the April exam. Such candidates who belong to the EWS category can also select the EWS quota while filling the form. The last date to apply for JEE Main 2019 April session is March 7, 2019.
