Delhi University attracts top meritorious candidates for various undergraduate, postgraduate, doctorate courses. In order to select students for admission, the University releases application forms and lays down eligibility criteria & selection process for every course. There are DU Entrance Exam 2017 for some programs, and merit based admission for others. DU Admission 2017-18 schedule was finally announced today. Application form for UG merit-based programmes will be available from May 22, 2017 and those for Under Graduate programmes where entrance exams will be held, forms will be available from May 31, 2017. PG application form will also be available from May 31, 2017. M.Phil and PhD Programme admission application forms will be available from May 31, 2017.

Process of applying has become completely digital. Candidates can fill online DU Application Form 2017. This applies to sports, ECA, KM, CW, and PwD categories admission also.

For the purpose of enlightening interested students about admission rules, DU will release information brochures. It will have information on admission schedule, eligibility criteria, best of four calculation, reservation. One can go through it and then apply.

Every year the admission merit lists in Delhi University cause much heartache among students. Even ninety percent holders fail to get in Delhi University Admission Cut Off List of the top campuses. Race to get seat in DU is indeed tough. Only the very best get admission.

For courses where entrance exams are to be held for DU Admission 2017-2018, a few days or weeks after closing of application form, admit card will be released. Even admit card is released online. Applicants can download it from DU website. With the admit card, one can go for admission entrance exam and then based on performance in exam, Delhi University will draw up merit list.

Delhi University announces cut offs one by one. Usually first cut off percentage goes really high. In few top-most colleges, seats get filled by second cut off or third cut off. However in several other colleges in DU, fourth cut off, fifth cut off, sixth cut off are published.
