Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released the notification for two big recruitments for the year 2019. On January 28, 2019, the board released the first notification (Advt. number 01/2019) for 264 vacancies on various post at delhi.gov.in. And on the next day, a new notification (Advt. number 01/2019) released for 204 vacancies. For 01/2019 the application window has been started today i.e. January 30, 2019, and for 02/2019 the application form will be available from tomorrow. The deadline to submit the online form for 01/2019 and 02/2019 recruitments is March 01, 05, 2019 respectively.
The Board is inviting the online application forms at dsssbonline.nic.in. Through 01/2019, the Board is inviting the application form for the post of Assistant Engineer & Junior Engineer in different Departments in Dehli Government. Only those candidates can apply for this post who have completed their Graduation and Diploma in the respective field. The minimum age limit for each post is 18 years, whereas the maximum age limit varies for each post. The application fee for both recruitments is Rs. 100/- for General and OBC category candidates, and for SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates the application fee is nil.
In the second recruitment process, the candidates can apply for the post of Lower Division Clerk, Stenographer, Jr. Lab Asstt., Legal Assistant, Scientific Assistant, Jr. Environmental Engineer, Welfare Officer/ Probation Officer/Prison Welfare Officer. Likewise 01/2019, the minimum age limit is same i.e. 18 years whereas the maximum age limit varies here. The candidates who hold a Diploma, Graduation/post graduation degree can apply.
After receiving the application form the board will issue the admit card for the tier I examination on its official website. The candidates then will be able to download the admit card by entering the valid credentials.
The selection of the candidates will be done through the one and two-tier examination scheme and skill test. The mode of examination will be the same for one and two-tier examination. In both recruitments, Tier I examination will be containing 200 multiple choice question of 200 marks. In Tier I examination question will be asked for the following topics: General Awareness, General Intelligence, Reasoning ability, Arithmetic and Numerical Ability, and comprehension in Hindi & English language. In Tier II the candidates have to attempt the descriptive type questions.
In both types of examination, the minimum qualifying criteria will be the same, the General category candidates have to obtain 40% marks, whereas the OBC candidates need to secure 35% marks, and all reserved category candidates have to obtain minimum 30% marks.
