DSSSB 20/18 exam date announced, via Notification at dsssb.delhi.gov.in for exam and admit card

The DSSSB 20/18 post exam for Grade-IV DASS / Jr Asst has been scheduled to be held from September 3 to 6, 2019.

DSSSB 20/18 exam date announced

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board has published a notification for online exam for various posts of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. As per the notification, online exam for DSSSB 20/18 Grade IV (DASS) / Jr Assistant will be held on September 3, 4, 5, and 6, 2019. 

On the exam date, candidates will have to appear for the online exam at venue assigned to them via their admit cards. Insofar, the date for issuance of DSSSB 20/18 admit card has not been specified. However looking at its past records, the admit card or call letter for online exams is released around 3-7 days before exam. The said document is released in online mode only. 

Candidates who had applied online against DSSSB 02/2018 advertisement number for the post code 20/18 will be able to download admit card from dsssb.delhi.gov.in, as and when it is released. Application number and date of birth will be required to login to download it. 

There will be an online exam with 200 questions of 200 marks to be attempted in 2 hours for the purpose of recruitment to DASS Grade 4 recruitment 2019. 

There will be six sections or tests in this exam namely general awareness, mental ability and reasoning, numerical ability and data interpretation, test of Hindi language, test of English language, basic familiarity with computers internet social media and office automation. These sections are of 35, 35, 35, 35, 35, and 25 marks respectively. Applicable negative marking in the paper will be of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. 

The notification further recommends candidates to update their email address and mobile number for future communication. Official website should be visited from time to time to get notification on admit card and instructions for exam. DSSSB may also send sms on registered mobile number. However the board clarifies that if someone does not get sms, then that does not entitle him or her to request any extension in date of downloading admit card. 

DSSSB Grade IV (DASS) / Jr Asst recruitment 2019 is for 79 vacancies. These vacancies are divided category wise as 47 for UR, 19 for OBC, 13 for SC. This post is a group C post in grade pay of Rs 1900. High school (class 12) pass candidates were eligible to apply for it, given they have a typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer. Required typing speed corresponds to 10500 key depression per hour or 9000 key depressions per hour on an average of 5 key depressions per word.

Online applications were invited last year vide advt no. 02/2018 from July 13 to August 13. Now almost one year later, the notification for its exam date has been released.
