Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University recently announced the examination schedule for various medical courses including MBBS, BDS and AYUSH. The official examination schedule has been published on tnmgrmu.ac.in. Therefore, students must ensure that they are checking the correct exam time-table depending on their year of enrollment. However, to ease their search, here are the official dates for the TN MGR university examination.
In case of the MBBS course, candidates who were admitted in 2016-17 or prior have their university exams on August 23, 24, 25, 26 27, 28 and 31, 2021, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Thereafter, the clinical exams shall commence from September 01, 2021. These exams will be part of the III MBBS – Part II course.
Similarly, the I MBBS Supplementary exams will be held on August 19 and 21, 2021, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Only the Biochemistry curriculum will be covered as Anatomy and Physiology theory exams have already been conducted. However, the Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry practical will be held from August 23, 2021. Candidates who appeared in the April-May 2021 exams and were admitted for the MBBS course 2019-20, have to appear for these exams.
I MBBS Arrears Exams for candidates admitted in 2018-19 or earlier shall have their exams on August 26, 27, and 31, and September 01, 03 and 04, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Practical exams for the same will be conducted from September 06, 2021.
Similarly, II MBBS exams shall be conducted on September 13, 14, 16, 17, 20, 21 and 23, 2021, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Practical exams will be conducted from September 24, 2021. III MBBS Part I exams are going to be conducted on September 06, 07, 08 and 09, 2021, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Practical and clinical exams will be conducted from September 13, 2021.
In case of students pursuing the dental degree, the first BDS exams shall be held on September 14, 15 and 16, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Practical exams for the same will be held thereafter, from September 20, 2021. The second BDS exam is going to be conducted on September 06, 08 and 09, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Practical exams for the same shall be organised thereafter, from September 13, 2021.
BDS III exams will be held on September 07, 13 and 17, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Practical exams for the same shall be held thereafter, from September 20, 2021. Similarly, the final BDS exams are going to be organised on September 06, 07, 08, 09, 13, 14, 15 and 16, 2021, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Practical exams for the same will be held thereafter, from September 20, 2021.
TN MGR University offers a variety of AYUSH courses to eligible students. These courses include BSMS, BHMS, BUMS, MD (SIDDHA) and MD (YOGA). Accordingly, the university authorities have uploaded a separate schedule for each course on the official website tnmgrmu.ac.in.
