DIET Delhi 2021 Application Form Correction Open at scertdelhiadmission.nic.in, Till 12 Aug

The candidates cannot edit the name, candidate’s date of birth, registered mobile number and e-mail ID on the DIET Delhi application form 2021. Apart from this, correction facility for other details is open at scertdelhiadmission.nic.in

Application Form Correction

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has commenced the DIET Delhi 2021 application form correction. The facility to correct and edit details in the application form is open at scertdelhiadmission.nic.in. The last date to make the changes is August 12, 2021.

This is the final opportunity to correct details in the application form, once the rank is issued on August 14, 2021, no changes shall be allowed. SCERT has clearly stated that “any discrepancy in the application form after allocation of seat will remove applicant from allocation process.”

To edit the form, candidates may follow the steps below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Delhi DIET, which is scertdelhiadmission.nic.in.

Step 2: On reaching the homepage, choose the option for “APPLY FOR D.El.Ed. 2021” or “APPLY FOR DPSE 2021”.

Step 3: On clicking the link, a login portal appears on the screen. To access it, candidates need to add – registration number and password, along with the security pin that is shown on the screen below.

Step 4: After entering all the details, candidates need to click on the blue ‘Sign In’ button.

Step 5: Post logging in, the candidates can edit the information such as parent’s name, college preference, academic qualification etc.

Step 6: Next, the candidates need to click on submit option and log out of the dashboard once all the required information is been corrected.

Through the correction window, candidates can change all the details, including choices and preferences. However, details such as name, date of birth, e-mail id, and mobile number cannot be edited. To make the changes, candidates have to pay Rs. 100. The amount is non-refundable.

The first merit list for the DIET Delhi 2021 will be released on August 17, 2021. After this, the selected candidates have to report to the allocated institute for admission. During the reporting, candidates need to carry all the documents in original, along with 2 sets of all documents and a slip of part admission fee. The verification and reporting are to be done between August 17 to 19, 2021.

The second merit list will release on August 24, 2021, and the date for the release of the third merit list is August 27, 2021. The commencement of the session is due from August 30, 2021.

The DIET Delhi offers admission in two courses namely i.e. DPSE and D.EL.ED across Delhi. As per the official brochure, the duration of both the courses will be 2 years. The selection of the candidates in both the courses is dependent on the candidate’s marks scored in the class 12th final exam.
