The Higher Education Department (DHE) of Odisha has announced the +3 Degree second phase merit list. The merit list was released today, August 11, 2017, on the official website which is dheodisha.gov.in The candidates who have successfully registered themselves through the Common Admission Form (CAF) for the +3 Degree admission 2017 will be able to check the merit list on the official website. The admission of the students selected in the second phase will be done from August 16th to 18th 2017. Whereas, the data updating of the 2nd Phase Selection Admission in e-Space will be done on August 19, 2017.
The candidates can check the second phase merit list from the official website. On the official website, the students need to enter the college type, district, select the college, stream, and subject. Then, the candidates need to click on the ‘Show’ button. This will show all the details along with the cutoff marks and the name, roll number, and the percentage of the candidates selected in that particular college. It will be the college and category wise rank list. All the other important dates regarding the admission have been published on the official website of Student Academic Management System (SAMS) at the (+3) Degree session. Centralized selection for all the colleges will be done by the SAMS.
The admission will be given to only those candidates who have successfully registered online on the official website of Higher Education Department, Odisha. Candidates will be selected through Common Application Form for admission to any stream of any Degree/Autonomous/Sanskrit Colleges in the state. Students whose name will be, mentioned in the merit list will be eligible to take admission in a particular college. They have to produce the required documents at the time of admission in the college. The admission to the (+3) course will be based on the marks obtained in the class 12th examination.
The admission in the various streams will be done on the basis of the merit of the students. Therefore, students must clear class 12th (+2) examination to get admission to the college in Department of Higher Education (DHE) of Odisha. The college will be allotted according to the marks obtained and performance in the class 12th and student’s reservation category. All the admissions are in control of Higher Education Department, Odisha which is a unit of Government of Odisha.
Odisha introduced the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) which is an integrated management system for students. It gives e- admission to the students in +2 and +3 courses in various Government/ private schools, Universities and colleges under the Department of Higher Education in the stream of Arts, Science and Commerce. The entire college admission is done through digitized in SAMS from application to the college allotment. The entire process is under observation of DEH, Odisha.
