Delhi University is about to announce the cutoff for admission in session 2017-18. The cutoff is due to be revealed on June 23, 2017, but as the time approaches, nearer one question starts to haunt the mind of even the brightest of the bright students: Will Delhi University Cutoff touch 100 percent this year?
Some might find this unrealistic but in 2015, DU cutoff does reach a perfect 100. The student in several years needed to score 100% and above marks in order to receive admission in college like Ramjas, Hindu, Kirori Mal, LSR, SRCC, and more.
One says, how is this possible? Actually, it is. The cutoff marks required for DU Admission is determined on the basis of Best of Four Performance and the competition is so stiff that nothing less than a perfect score accepted by the colleges.
Last year, students had some relief as the cutoff reached up to 99 and above but did not touch 100. However, as per few experts, the cutoff is expected to soar high this year but the possibility of the opposite is not less.
Last year, 3.4 lakh candidates registered for the admissions. However, the number of registration this year is 3.2 lakh only. The seats in the college are almost the same and there has been no major change in the admission process. Hence, the cutoff may stop at 99 or so.
Whatever the case might be, all will be on the table after a day. Students are advised not to lose hope not matter how high the cutoff goes. There will be multiple rounds of counselling and lady luck can shine anytime on you.
