#1. DU to take Students’ Marks from CBSE Database

The Delhi University Application process for this year is said to be very easy! On the other hand, DU authorities are contacting the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to get the authority of their database, in order to obtain the Class 12 mark sheets and certificates.

#2. 2% Deduction for stream Change

Another thing to note about DU Admission, this year is that 2% of marks will be deducted for stream change. Previously, which was 5% for changing from Science stream to Commerce and vice – versa. In every DU college, the Committee is planning on to set up this type of grievance cell. ECA and sports category trials to begin from May 20 onward as these seats are reserved under supernumerary seats, so a candidate need not wait for a long period (as it used to be earlier).

Currently, Delhi University 87 UG courses and 153 PG courses. Candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria and either via entrance exam or through direct mode, on the merit basis. As per last years records, over 3.5 lakh applicants registered for DU UG Admission. Over, 3000 foreign nationals also applied for various course admission to the Delhi University.
