As per images shared on social media, there will be recruitment for 554 vacancies to the post of Head Constable (Ministerial) in Delhi Police. The pictures show a notification with thirteen pages, however pictures of only two pages, first and seventh, have been shared. The first page of the Delhi Police Head Constable Ministerial Recruitment 2019 notification says that online registration will start at delhipolice.nic.in on October 1, 2019. The last date to apply will be October 30, 2019 and the deadline time will be 5 pm. Date of computer based exam will be notified later.

HC ministerial group C posts will be in the level 4 of pay matrix, that is Rs 25500-81100. The number of vacancies are 372 for males, and 182 for females. For males, the category wise vacancies for UR, EWS, OBC, SC, ST are respectively 140, 37, 86, 56, 53. Whereas for females the respective vacancies are 69, 18, 42, 27, 26. Thus the category wise vacancies for males and females are 209 for UR, 55 for EWS, 128 for OBC, 83 for SC, and 79 for ST. Horizontal reservation as per the notification shared on social media is 10% for ex-S, 3% for PWD.
To apply, as per the notification, candidates need to visit delhipolice.nic.in and first go through how to apply that will be provided there. Complete process of filling out the application form as well as paying fees will be online. However there will also be an option to pay fee through challan.
The seventh page of the notification talks about the method of recruitment. As per which, there will be a computer based exam of 100 marks, a physical endurance and measurement test (PEMT) that will be qualifying in nature, typing test on computer for 25 marks, and computer formatting test also qualifying in nature. Thus the overall process will be of 125 marks.
Computer based examination will have objective type questions. There will be five parts namely A, B, C, D, E. They will respectively be general awareness, quantitative aptitude on basic arithmetic skills, general intelligence, english language basic knowledge, and the fifth part will be computer fundamentals, MS excel, MS word, internet and related topics. There will be 100 questions of 100 marks.

The notification shared on social media is not yet available on the official website. Sometimes it does happen that notification news gets leaked in media and images of notifications are shared before they come on official site. If Delhi Police publishes notification on the official website on or before October 1, or if it is published in employment news, then this will be confirmed to be real. Otherwise not.
Another Delhi Police Head Constable notification went viral in the first week of September. It was for HC ministerial posts, and HC assistant wireless operator, tele printer operator posts. Last date to apply for that recruitment as per the notification shared on social media was supposed to be October 25, 2019. However that recruitment notification is also not yet available on the website.

Should government job aspirants start preparing for Delhi Police Head Constable Ministerial Recruitment 2019 or not?
In one week it will be clear whether the notification is real or fake. Government job aspirants can choose to start preparing for this simultaneously with other govt job exams they are preparing for. However any action, on buying books or applying anywhere should be taken only after official notification releases.
