Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) Assam has published notification regarding driver, grade III, grade IV, driver recruitment 2019. Date and time of written exam, as well as date for downloading admit card are informed through it. Government job seekers in Assam who had applied for said posts may take note of the exam dates and download admit card from dee.assam.gov.in from informed dates.
The directorate will conduct OMR based written examinations for the posts advertised in advertisement no. EAA/SIU/150/2017/264, EAA/SIU/393/2017/Pt-I/44, EAA/SIU/393/2017/Pt-I/42. Exams will be held next Saturday onwards. Whereas admit card will be available from tomorrow.
To start with, DEE Assam will conduct exam for driver (HQ) on September 7, 2019, from 2 pm to 3 pm. Exam for grade 3 junior assistant (HQ) will be held on September 8, 2019 from 10 am to 12 noon. And on the same day, junior assistant (FLE) exam will also be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm. Admit card for driver, junior assistant (HQ), junior assistant (FLE) posts will be available from September 1, 2019, 11 pm.
The next exam date is September 14, 2019. Grade 3 computor (FLE) post exam will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm. On its next date, that is September 15, 2019, from 10 am to 12 noon, grade 3 statistical assistant (FLE) exam will be held. For both these posts admit card will be released on September 8, 2019, again at 11 pm.
DEE Asaam will conduct exam for grade 4 peon, chowkidar on September 15, 2019 from 2 pm to 3 pm. Admit card for grade 4 peon and chowkidar will be available at dee.assam.gov.in from September 8, 2019, 11 pm.
Recruitment for these posts were advertised in February earlier this year. Maximum vacancies are for grade 4 posts. There are 139 vacancies of grade 4 peon in field level establishment under DEE, 9 for grade 4 peon in DEE, and 1 for grade 4 chowkidar. There are ample vacancies for grade 3 posts as well. Junior assistant (FLE) post has 58 vacancies, junior assistant has 9, statistical assistant post has 8, and computor post has 3 vacancies. There are 3 vacancies for driver.
Grade 4 peon, chowkidar posts are open for candidates with class 8 pass qualification. Drivers need to have HSLC pass qualification. Grade 3 posts on the other hand require a bachelors degree.
DEE Assam has already conducted district wise document verification for grade 3 and grade 4 posts. The same was held in Cachar, Darrang, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Goalpara, Golaghat, Hailakandi, Jorhat, Kamrup, Karimganj, Lakhimpur, Morigaon, Sivasagar, Tinsukia, Sonitpur in the month of June.
In the recruitment notifications, there was no mention of written exams. However it is probable that DEE Assam has decided to conduct exam due to the large number of applications. Candidates are required to appear in the said exam, with downloaded and printed admit card for the respective posts. Details of exam centre, documents to carry, and other critical details of the exam should be seen from the admit card.
