The Dev Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore has announced the schedule for the upcoming Common Entrance Test (DAVV CET) 2021 today. The DAVV CET 2021 conducted via National Testing Agency (NTA) for admitting students to the various UG and PG Programmes for the 2021-22 session. Online application form has been released on the davv.nta.ac.in the official website. The last date for submitting the forms via davv.nta.nic.in is August 09, 2021. The examination will be held on August 31, 2021 and the students will be able to download their admit cards from August 17, 2021 onwards.
To start with the application process, students must visit davv.nta.nic.in. They have to register online using their email ID and phone number. After successful registration, students will receive the application number which must be noted down for future reference. After that, the students can fill up the DAVV CET 2021 application form by carefully providing details such as name, contact details, address, educational qualification, etc. Now, in the third stage, the students will have to upload scanned images of their passport-size photo, signature and PwD certificate (if applicable). This will now take them to the Payment Gateway where the students will have to complete their payments. On making a successful payment, the students will receive a confirmation page, a printout of which must be taken for future use.
Students willing to apply to the ‘Group A’ courses, i.e. the courses after graduation, must hold a graduation degree in any stream with at least 50% marks. However, to be eligible for the MBA (Hospital Administration) course, the student must have a medical degree like BDS or B. Sc (Nursing) whose duration is equal to that of MBBS. Courses under the Group B and C categories are the programs that can be availed after 10+2. Likewise, these courses have varying eligibility depending on the stream of study in 10+2. Note that candidates who are awaiting their qualifying examination results can also apply. However, they must submit the mark sheet by September 30, 2021 or else their admission might get cancelled.
Students belonging to the General/OBC/EWS/SC/ST/PWD categories will have to pay Rs 1500/- as the DAVV CET application fee while the fee for the NRI students is Rs 5000. The examination will be in the form of a Computer Based Test (CBT) and the students will get 90 minutes to answer the MCQs. The examination time for Group A and C is 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM while that for Group B is 3 PM to 4:30 PM. Candidates must keep an eye on the NTA and their email IDs to get the latest updates.
