The Central University of Rajasthan, being the exam conducting body of CUCET 2019 is going to commence with the online application process on March 13, 2019. The application form will release online at its official website, cucetexam.in. Candidates fulfilling the various eligibility criteria for UG / Integrated Programs, PG / B.Ed. / Integrated M.Sc B.Ed / PG Diploma Programs and MPhil /Ph.D. Programs can start applying.
Earlier, Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) was conducted for admission to the 10 central universities, namely of Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, South Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and Dr. B R Ambedkar School of Economics, Bengaluru. But this year, for CUCET 2019, 04 new Central Universities have been added which are Central Universities of Gujarat, Central Universities of Andhra Pradesh, Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Bihar, Assam University, Silchar.
There are 8 stages to the CUCET 2019 Application process, namely New Registration and Login, Filling the registration form, providing academic qualification related details, upload photo & signature, provide test center preference, provide university & course details, preview the application form and final submission and fee payment. CUCET 2019 Application fee, for this year, is Rs. 800 for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 350 for SC/ST candidates.
A candidate is advised to upload the documents, as per the guidelines provided over the official website of CUCET 2019. The photograph uploaded by a candidate should be recent, colored, front facing and without any hats, caps or dark glasses. The ideal dimension for the photograph is 200 x 230 pixels, whereas the file size should be between 20 KB to 50 KB.
As per the signature is concerned, a candidate needs to sign with a black/blue ink pen only. The dimension of the image should be 140 x 60 pixels, whereas the size of the file should be between 10 KB to 50 KB. At the time of scanning these documents, a candidate is advised to set the scanner to a minimum resolution of 200 dpi and set color to true color. After having scanned the photograph and signature, a candidate needs to click the “Choose File Link”, select their respective files and wait for the files to get uploaded.
There are certain reasons due to which a candidate’s CUCET 2019 application may get rejected. And those are – unclear photograph and signature, skipping any of the mentioned steps and not making the fee payment, before the last date. After having submitted the CUCET 2019 Application form, if a candidate feels the need to rectify any of the details, he/she can do so over the correction window. To edit the details, under this facility, a candidate needs to enter their Application ID and Password.
Further, on the basis of the details provided on CUCET 2019 Application form, a candidate is issued the admit card for the exam. CUCET 2019 Admit card will be issued on May 10, 2019, in online mode. The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 25 and 26, 2019.
