CBSE is going to close the registration process for CTET 2021 application today, dated October 25, 2021. However, candidates can pay the application fee on the official website, ctet.nic.in till October 26, 2021. Additionally, corrections of major details in the CTET 2021 application form is going to commence from October 28 to November 03, 2021.
According to the official notice released by CBSE, CTET 2021 is scheduled between December 16 to January 13, 2021. Candidates who successfully complete the CTET paper 1 or paper 2 or both are awarded a CTET certificate that remains valid for a lifetime.
The basic eligibility for appearing in CTET paper 1 is passing class 12 with at least 50% marks and having 2 or 4-year D.EL.Ed course. Whereas the same for CTET paper 2 is completing graduation with 50% marks and having a B.Ed degree.
Candidates who have not yet filled the CTET 2021 application form can do the same by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of CTET, ctet.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the application form for CTET 2021 link and initiate the registration process
Step 3: Fill the registration form with personal details, contact details, relevant passwords, and security pin and hit the submit button
Step 4: Next, enter all the required information in the remaining application form and upload the documents in the prescribed limit
Step 5: Note down the generated registration number and fill the application fee to finally submit the CTET 2021 application form
The prescribed application fee is INR 1000 and 500 for the General and reserved category if opting for a single paper. However, if opting for both papers i.e. paper 1 and paper 2, then candidates will have to pay INR 1200 and 600 respectively for both the categories.
Documents Required to fill the CTET 2021 application form
Candidates need to keep the following set of documents handy if filling the CTET 2021 application form:
- Class 10th certificate
- Valid Id Proof
- Class 12th/Bachelor’s marksheet
- Caste certificate
- Valid Email id
- Scanned photograph in the size limit of 10 kb to 100 kb
- Scanned signature in the size limit of 3 kb to 30 kb
Once the CTET application form filling is over, the concerned authorities will release the admit card for all the candidates whose application form fulfils all the basic eligibility criteria.
