Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the online window for correcting the CTET Application Form today i.e. April 01, 2019. The aspirants who enlisted for the CTET 2019 and made mistakes in the application form can correct it until 11:59 PM at ctet.nic.in. To correct the application form the candidates have to enter the application number, password on the login page.
The application form correction process begun on March 25, 2019. The correction in the application can be done after doing the login through the official website of CTET. The candidates should note that CBSE is not charging anything for making corrections in the application form. Hence candidates can make a correction as many time as he/she wants. However, only some of the fields in the application form are editable. Only Name, parents name, DOB, Category, Paper, 1st choice for Test center, language for the exam, address, qualification can be edited.
After making the correction, to generate the fresh Confirmation Page is compulsory, the previous one will no longer useful. The candidates who are unable to download the confirmation page of CTET 2019 have to visit the CTET Unit from March 25 to April 01, 2019 form 10 Am to 05 PM along with the proof of fee submission.
After this period no correction or request regarding doing correction in the application form will be entertained by CBSE. Only those candidates whose application form will be found correct in all manner will be issued the admit card for CTET.
The CTET admit card is expected to release in the 3rd week of June 2019. This year CBSE will conduct the CTET July examination on July 07, 2019.
Recently the CBSE has increased the number of cites in Assam and Bihar, as the capacity of the previously decided center is full. In Assam state, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Silchar are recognized as the new center for the examination. Similarly, in Bihar, the new districts which are identified in the center list are Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Gaya, Vaishali.
The candidates who have opted Patna, Muzaffarpur and Guwahati were informed by the CBSE to modify their choice of examination cites as per the preferential order. The CTET examination will be held in two shifts, the paper I in the shift I and Paper II in shift II.
As per the official notification, the result of CTET 2019 will be decalred within 06 weeks from the exam date. After the result announcement, the qualified candidates will be awarded the Teacher Eligibility Certificate. The Validity of that certificate will be of 07 years from the date of result declaration.
