The Human Resource Development Group of Council Of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) will conduct the CSIR UGC NET June 2019 examination on June 16, 2019. In this context, the official notification has been released on February 19, 2019 at csirhrdg.res.in. The registration process for the examination will start on upcoming Monday i.e. February 25, 2019, at the official website. The candidates can submit their online application until March 18, 2019.
The HRDG of CSIR is inviting the application form to award the Eligibility Certificate for of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and eligibility for appointment as Lecturer (LS). The Indian Nationals below the age of 28 years can apply.
The CSIR Net Examination held for awarding the Eligibility certificate in the areas of Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences. Hence the candidates applying for the examination must have the postgraduation in the above-mentioned fields with 55% marks. Here the candidates of SC/ST and PWD category candidates who have scored at least 50% are eligible to apply.
In order to apply online, the candidates have to pay the application fee, the candidates should note that for each category the application fee is distinct. General category candidates have to pay Rs. 1000/- as application fee and OBC candidates get 50% relaxation and have to pay RS. 500/-. Here the SC/ST/PWD category candidates have to pay Rs. 250/- as examination fee. The mode of application fee submission is online through Credit Card or Debit Card or Net Banking. But the prerequisite of enrollment for the examination is the validation of eligibility.
The aspirants of CSIR NET should note that HRDG will not provide any chance to edit your form. The candidates have to fill the form correctly in one go.
The candidates can opt for JRF or Lectureship (LS) while filling the application form. But such candidate who fits in the eligibility criteria of JRF and LS laid down by CSIR, and opt for only JRF, will be considered for both. But Vice versa will not be applicable. The candidates who apply for JRF but later found overaged will be treated for the LS automatically.
The candidates who are still pursuing the final year of their course, are also eligible, but such candidates have to upload the “Attestation Form” while filling the application form, such candidates have to register themselves under Result Awaited category.
The Council has advised to candidates, to fill only one application, in case a candidate submits more than one application form, then the latest one will be considered. The application status will be uploaded on the website on May 15, 2019.
The candidates whose application status will be positive will be issued the admit card for the examination. The admit card will be issued in the first week of June 2019.
The CSIR examination will be held in two shifts, in the pen paper mode. The result of the examination will be released in the month of September / October 2019.
