Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) has published a recruitment notification for the post of Constable via advertisement number 02/2019. A total of 11880 vacancies will be filled up in Bihar Police, Bihar Military Police (BMP), Special India Reserve Battalion (SIRB) and Bihar industrial Security Battalion (BSISB).
The online application form has been released today at csbc.bih.nic.in. The interested candidates can apply for Bihar Police Recruitment till November 04, 2019.
In order to register, candidates must click on the link that reads, “Invitation of Online application for selection of Constables in Bihar Police, BMP, SIRB and BSISB. After that, click on Registration button in blue color.
Before registering, candidates must keep handy of their 10th / SSC / matric certificate, an active mobile number (as it will be used for future communications), email id, category certificates, date of birth certificate.
After completing the registrations, candidates will have to make online payment through net banking / debit card / credit card. The amount of the application fee is Rs 450 for categories belonging to general / EWS / EBC / BC and Rs 112 for SC / ST categories. On successful payment, applicants will receive a registration ID on their registered number. In case if the amount is deducted due to power or internet failure or slow bank link, the fee amount will be returned after 7 working days.
Candidates applying for the Police Constable Recruitment, must pass the Intermediate / 10 + 2 examination or an equivalent exam by or before August 1, 2019. The age group of the candidates should be between 18 to 25 years of age.
The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of a written examination, comprising of 100 questions from English, Hindi, General Awareness, Current Affairs and candidates will have to choose any two subjects from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Polity, Economics.
Candidates will be allotted with a two hour duration to solve the paper. The written test will be qualifying in nature and those clear the exam will be called for physical standard test (PST). The general category male candidates need to have a height of 165 cm, 162 cm by OBC and 160 cm by SC / ST categories, and 155 cm by female of all categories.
Candidates belonging to general / BC / SBC need to have 81 cm of unexpanded chest and 86 cms of expanded chest. Whereas candidates belonging to SC / ST / Gorkhas of India need to have an unexpanded chest of 79 cms, and expanded chest of 84 cms.
Those qualifying in PST, will have to appear in Physical Efficiency Test (PET). During PET, the male candidates will have to undergo a running of 1.6 km in 6 minutes, 4 feet high jump and throw a 16 pound ball from 16 feet. While female candidates will have to undergo a running of 1 km in 6 minutes, 3 feet high jump and throw a 12 pound ball from 10 feet. Those who pass the physical efficiency test, they will be called for medical fitness test.
