The Institute of Company of Secretaries of India (ICSI) has declared the result for the CS Professional exam, held in the month of June 2017. The result has been published on the official website of ICSI, which is icsi.edu. The subject wise break up of the marks of the candidates was disclosed at 11:00 am, on August 25, 2017.
To download the result-cum-marks statement, the candidates need to visit the official website and access the result link. To open the result portal, the candidates will only have to enter the Roll Number. However, it should be ensured that the entered Roll Number must be the same as that allocated via the admit card of CS Professional exam.
The CS Professional result-cum-marks statement will also be dispatched via post to the candidates. ICSI will send it at the residential address of the candidates, which they submitted while filling the application form. If in case, the candidates do not receive the hard copy of the result cum mark sheet within the 30 days of the result declaration, then the candidate must contact the Institute through email at [email protected] along with the particulars.
Along with the result, the All Indian Provisional Merit list has also been released. It contains the Rank, Name, and Roll Number of the top 31 candidates. The candidates may refer to it in order to check their merit position.
The list of the top three rank holders for the Professional examination has also been displayed on the result web page of the Institute. The exam has been topped by Ranjith Kumar DASA Ramesh Babu. Following him, the second and third rank have been secured by Rishabh Raj Mehta and Aditi Nigam, respectively.
The result for CS Executive June exam is also due to be announced today. It will be released at 2:00 pm, on icsi.edu. The executive program aspirants will also need Roll Number to check the result. The result-cum-marks statement will also be released for this program. However, the candidates will have to download it online, as it will not be dispatched offline.
In both the examination, only those candidates are being termed qualified, who satisfy the minimum qualifying criteria. The minimum qualifying criterion is that the candidates must secure have at least 40% marks in all the modules. Along with this, the overall aggregate marks in the examination must be 50% or above. And if the candidate has passed the module under the old syllabus of the executive program and has secured minimum 40% marks in individual remaining subjects and 50% marks in total then he or she will also be considered as pass in the examination.
